The place changed during COVID to stay open, but in years since it has not gone back to what it was. The reduced menu is ok, but miss some of the previous items. Milkshakes were good and food came out quickly. I think the store is doing the best that they can. I try to stop when in the area if for nothing but a milkshake.

For a steak n shake, this place did a good job. The food was prepared correctly and hot. Shakes came out shortly after food. I stay away from all the steak n shakes around my home; however, this place has a cute retro set-up, and the staff does a good job. I didn't like ordering at the counter & I miss the table service. Overall, I understand why my college kids likes it.

My wife and I like to stop once or twice a month. Have not had a bad burger or shake. The crew is always laughing, very polite, and attentive to the customers needs. Not many places have all 3 now

Not exactly sure how to rate the service, that is because I had to do the orders myself on the little screen, then it had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. I will not be returning. The food is decent but not worth the hassle. How the hell are you gonna raise the prices of meals and get rid of workers?

Chris was the gentleman who took our drive through order on Monday Dec 11th and was extremely helpful! We were on our way through Athens after having an extremely rough day. He was super polite and put a smile on our faces as well as our dogs’ faces too! It’s the acts of kindness that truly can change an outlook on life. We also got our food later in the day so the fact that his attitude was so positive for it being so dark and gloomy outside was impressive! We will now continue to stop through Athens on our way through Ohio and get a delicious chocolate shake and fries combo that’s unmatched!
