I visited this restaurant earlier today & although the food was truly delicious & our server absolutely amazing- I witnessed a gentleman ask two ladies to leave because they had folks waiting for tables - my party was seated just after them & I have to tell you I was shocked the way the gentleman spoke to them this way - & they were not camping out - it was just a few minutes after finishing eating & they were finishing their coffee - I just couldn’t believe what I witnessed!!

Food was amazing, our server was great, but after sitting and chatting finishing our drinks we were asked to leave. For no reason but they had people waiting. I am sorry i am trying to have a nice breakfast with my mother and be able to take our time, but no. The (I am guessing) manager LOUDLY asked us to leave as I was still finishing up with my mother. This has never happed to me before and it was quite absurd. Again, our food was amazing our server was very nice and complimentary, but the end ruined it all.

Small restaurant, but got seated fairly quickly and food came very fast. Street parking was a bit difficult to find. Atmosphere was a typical older diner. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Had a veggie omelet, hashbrowns, and biscuit & gravy. Husband had egg sandwich and shared my meal. My meal was very good. Would definitely go back.

It's still one of the best food spots in Athens. Service is always excellent, as is the food.

Came and visited from the NorthEast and the food was delicious. I had the steak and eggs and it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the food. I just wish there was music playing in the place. When we went it was just chatter from the other guests.

This is a good restaurant for what it's trying to be: inexpensive, average diner food for uncomplicated college students.

As an Athens local, definitely one of my favorite places ever. The service is great, the food is great, just overall a great place to get breakfast at any time.

Love Union Street diner. I would like to see them become 24 hours again. Other than that it's a great little place to hit in

We love this place especially for Sunday breakfast . Expect a line unless OU is on break. My husband likes his eggs over medium and that's what he gets. My favorites are Eggs Benedict (although they use a thicker slice of meat) and the banana French toast (caution: frosting like cream cheese... You sure don't need syrup too!)
