Must of new people in the kitchen setting up the food. Received our order and asked for bacon and spinach to be added to the grilled chicken salad, did not get them and was charged for it. They also went really light on the grilled chicken. We never never have an issue with our orders so this was a bit of a surprise to see that there was items missing.
I didn’t think I would have to write a review for Gionino’s but I am going to. I don’t know about the atmosphere I have never been inside. This is the place we get pizza. We get pizza once a month at the Austintown location. Having worked in food service as a short order cook, a line cook, a bartender, and the person who takes orders over the phone and has to estimate the time based on whoever is cooking and on how many orders I take. Just visited for the first time last night and I have to say that I'm impressed. The food was good. I ordered the 8 piece dark with jojos for dinner. The food was a bit dry but I have to say the breading was very good. I will be back. Reasonable prices. I could tell they were busy that probably suffered in terms of food quality. If I could give 4.5 out of 5, I would!
