This was our first visit to Hot Dog Allie. Yes, it is expensive, most food businesses are these days. Unlike other places, we experienced great customer service and good food. The chili tasted homemade, tots and parm. puffs were fried to order, and the onions were freshly chopped. We will be returning to try more menu items.

Terrible Chicago dogs that weren't even warm(hot dog was tiny and poor quality, bun was stale, no celery salt, mustard or relish), awful "loaded" fries with barely anything on them. 17 bucks for 2 lame hot dogs and fries. BOOOOO! But the real kicker was the rude girl (heavy set brunette) at the drive-thru that tossed my husband our food and gave him a dirty look for no flipping reason. He's super polite to service workers and doesn't deserve an attitude. We threw our food in the trash after a couple of bites. This was the 3rd or 4th time we've been disappointed by the lackluster food and kept trying to give another chance. There won't be a next time. It's too bad too because we love hot dogs and live nearby.

Great food. Loved the fried mashed potatoes bites (Parmesan potato puffs). Definitely worth driving around for as an out-of-towner.It was cold, we ordered at the window and the crew brought our food to our car. Thanks guys.

My friend from work, Johnny, brought us in Hot Dog Allie’s to eat. I have always seen the posts on Facebook but have never been able to truly stop in to try it, as I’m not from the area. However, the food was amazing! The barbecue chicken sandwich was out of this world and the chili dog was an absolute classic! Now that I’ve tried it, I will definitely be going out of my way to get this delicious food again.

Excellent hot dogs, chili sauce, tater tots, and waffle fries. Everything was fresh and hot. The highlight of our meal was the cheese sauce. It is truly amazing and the best cheese sauce I have ever had. This is obviously homemade and not from a can! Can't wait to go back again!
