A great place to enjoy a perch fish fry cold beer and friendly folks. Excellent assortment of sandwiches, burgers and American fare all prepared well and served quickly. Some upscale offerings as well. A large chalkboard features daily specials, food and drink. A real gem in Avon Lake on Lake Rd. Large parking area and cozy patio in back.

We went early with our Grandkids. The server surprised us with fries for them. Such a smart move. Our drinks were great ?. The food as well. As out of towners we also went early cause it can be tough getting in Jake's and on this trip we wanted to be sure

We have been coming to Jakes for years but lately, the service is lacking.Update. Why is Jake’s charging for rocks with drinks? It costs 1 dollar to have ice in your cocktail but there is no warning about it. Is the water from the ice from a special glacier?

As people have said, the perch is really good. The blackened walleye and the walleye bites were OK. Fresh cut fries were good. I'd reccomend at least give it a try. Especially if you like

I purchased take out fish and chips meals for family and was very disappointed on the size of the breaded fish for $18 per meal. Don't think I would recommend this to anyone based on portion
