“A little hidden gem in Avon Lake, Ohio. Friendly staff and polite hardworking employees everywhere you turn. We made reservations and they were accommodating. It’s a family friendly or date night kind of place. They have a small bar area up front with wine bottles every where, really cool vibes. The fresh bread and garlic butter are amazing. The Chicken Alfredo can easily feed 3-4 people, it’s HUGE! The grouper dish was good too. We had side of shrimp and calamari as well. Next time will save room for those delicious looking desserts. Clean and cozy spot!Parking: Parking lot upfront the restaurant.“

“After a year we finally hit pay dirt! We have been trying to order from here but this place is so popular we have never gotten our order there in time. As one of the reviews said, we really appreciated that the owner gave us a time period, which can be 1-2 hours. Today, on a whim, we decided to try again and this time was a success! Both the Pad Thai and green curry were superior! You can taste the quality ingredients and skill that took to prepare them. We opted for medium, which was a good call! There was a good amount of heat but the flavors still punched through! Absolutely worth the wait and we will definitely be back!“

“Taki's is great, but it is pretty difficult as a celiac! I did not even make it through dinner..... That said, our server was wonderful, and did her best. My gyro-connoisseur husband liked, but did not love the gyro. The pita bread looked amazing, and I was told it was. I had the kitchen salad with grilled chicken, which was juicy and flavorful. Taki's is very popular and busy, and the staff is great, especially the bartenders. Give it a try!!!“

“A great place to enjoy a perch fish fry cold beer and friendly folks. Excellent assortment of sandwiches, burgers and American fare all prepared well and served quickly. Some upscale offerings as well. A large chalkboard features daily specials, food and drink. A real gem in Avon Lake on Lake Rd. Large parking area and cozy patio in back.“

“I got the prime rip dip sandwich and home made mashed potatoes as a side.The sandwich was excellent and I could tell all the ingredients were made fresh. The bread was out of the bakery fresh and the mushrooms/onions were hand cut not out of a can. The garlic mashed potatoes were REAL homemade mashed potatoes and the gravy was delicious. Refreshing to have food made fresh with good ingredients. I will definitely be back ?? The staff was super friendly as well. Big 5 stars“

“Ordered takeout lunch chicken fajitas and a quart of their chicken soup. Both delicious! Fajitas came with rice & beans in addition to the toppings, very nice portion for lunch! Also comes with a bag of tortilla chips & salsa. I recommend :)“

“Met friends for breakfast At Cafe Melissa. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! Everything they do is top notch! Our server was very welcoming and attentive. The food came quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone at my table was delighted with their meals. The roasted potatoes, that came with breakfast were THE BEST!!! Each person also got a small fresh fruit cup with breakfast. A very nice touch. I will be going back to Cafe Melissa's, and soon!!!!“

“I have discovered that this little take out place has exceptional food. All the food is prepared fresh and may take a little while but the wait is worth it. Hands down the best wonton soup I have ever had. My whole family love it. The downside is limited parking and of course you can't eat the food in the restaurant.“
