we were lied to and told that there was no minimum purchase to receive a $20 voucher but when we tried to check out it was then that we were told there was a $60 minimum purchase requirement when we asked the manager matt he gave a strange face and turned and walked away offering no help at all! we immediately cancelled our membership and we WILL NOT RETURN! the place is empty and no one ever shops here anyways! not sure why this dump is even opened!! should be shuttered immediately!!

THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE TIRE SHOP AND CLUB CUSTOMER SERVICE: If you value your time, energy and peace of mind - DO NOT GO HERE! Make the short drive over to Discount Tire instead. Hear me out....I had purchased tires and set up a date/time for installation a week ahead on BJs website. A day before my appointment, BJs sent me an email confirming my appointment. I get there the next day at my appointment time and Sam was at the front desk. He told me that he had to go check to see if my tires was in. I was immediately annoyed because why wouldn't the shop check that my tires was in BEFORE my appointment date/time instead of waiting for the customer to get there and check at that time?? It makes literally no sense whatsoever. As it turns out, my tires wasn't available. I repeat, BJs confirmed my appointment the day before and made no mention that my tires was unavailable. I had to drive all the way out here to find this out. Of course I was then offered tires that would cost me another $150..oh and only 3 tires was there, I would have to order the 4th and come on a different day to have that one installed. It's a ripoff and they don't believe in giving you any discount for the incovenience! I honestly believe they offer those "free installation, buy 3 get 1 free" deals just to get you to their tire center only to tell you that they don't have the tires and you'll have to pay more for other ones. The fun doesn't end there, when I went inside the club to get a refund it was like rocket science - the customer service reps had no idea what they were doing and even said "tire refunds are never easy." After that total fiasco, I headed to Discount Tire a few miles away. The tires I needed was at another one of their locations, but they were able to get all four of them delivered in about 2 hours. Then it was about another half hour for them to get the tires installed. The customer service was impeccable, they let me know exactly what to expect and assured me that the tires would be installed same day. They even give you a link to track the progress of your tire installation. I got there early and actually watched as two young men worked quickly to get my tires installed. There were at least 5 other techs there in the shop and they were all hustling and working hard getting cars in and out. The reps at the counter were awesome. Yes, I paid about what BJs was going to upcharge me, but for the customer service, tracking link, quality tires and protection plan - it was all worth it. I found a new favorite in Discount Tires - I would NEVER return to BJs again!

BJ's is our go-to for a Club Warehouse. It has most of the selection Costco has, but none of the overcrowded parking lots or store. It has free food samples, bakery, bulk food/ household necessities, clothes, and decor. The only thing BJs does not have is a food court, and that's okay with me. They even take manufacturers coupons and have their own digital coupons! Win!

For me, a slightly better experience than Costco. BJ's has the everyday items I want in more reasonable sizes (i.e. not army- or prepper militia-sized) and wider varieties (i.e. low-fat turkey patties and cuts of beef) than Costco. On the flip side, unit prices are slightly higher than Costco but also slightly better than normal supermarkets. But they also take all types of credit cards and they even honor manufacturer's coupons in addition to offering their own house coupons and rotating sales. Possibly because BJ's might be a newer presence in the region than Costco, its outlets and parking lots have been blissfully empty, well-stocked, and uncrowded whenever I've stopped by, whether in the evenings after work or at any time on the weekends. Same goes for their gas station: slightly pricier than Costco but cheaper than most area stations - and, best of all, no lineups, ever. I'm still keeping my Costco membership because it has a national presence and pays for itself when fueling up on road trips, and when they have certain items that I love, like canned Kirkland cold brew coffee. But I'm shopping BJ's more often.

Bj’s has a deal running to renew for only $25. My membership had expired so I renewed and was charged $55. I asked about it and was told I would have to void my $550.00 order, fix the price difference and then re-ring all of my items. I didn’t have the time to do all that. I going to switch to Costco. This store was out of many simple things like bounty paper towels and. Charmin toilet paper. Go somewhere else. They’re a rip off and poorly stocked.

Great place! clean, well stocked. Saw a couch I really liked. I can't fit this in my car so I asked if the club had a delivery option. I was told no however if you buy on line it will be delivered. I ordered on line and am waiting for the delivery.

My wife and I have been BJ members for many years. In my opinion it is better than Costco because it is less crowded and it's branded products are very good. Their gas pumps are rarely crowded and the savings using the BJ Master Card are very good The BJ meat Dept is exceptional and the butchers provide custom cutting at no additional charge which is not true at Costco. Also BJ's accepts all major credit cards unlike Costco. I can't recommend more highly. .
I went to the auto service department today to deal with a flat tire. Ryan was the employee that helped me. He notified me that I needed a tire plug and they didn't do that service. He then went out of his way to look up shops in the area that did. And he filled my tire up with air to make sure I would make it. Very grateful that you have an employee like this to help me out.

I went to the Dunkin Donuts to get a bagel,there were probably 10 flies all over the food,Soooooo gross,they need to store the food better and not in the open...

Don't let the name fool you.. this place will satisfy you in more ways than you can imagine! Bulk is their game from household every day needs to school and pet supplies. If you're feeling lonely pick up a book or DVD from their many selections. Their baking goods will leave your mouth watering and wanting more. And what's most impressive are their prices you cant beat them for what you're getting.

Not much to say about BJ's but the prices and selection are excellent and it is never too busy to affect your shopping routine like Costco. We are members of both but this is closer to home and the gas alone is worth the membership. Free air filler in gas station area as well. Produce is surprisingly fresh and is always priced well. The staff are not the most knowledgeable but they are very friendly and will eventually sort out the problem. Tire center and vision center are both available. Membership is $50 for basic and a little more for one with 2% back in $20 BJ's cash slips for use in the store. Store seems a little dead most of the time but they seem to be staying put in Avon. We will be members for as long as it holds on.

The tire center was great today. By far the best prices around. My dealership offered price match on tires with the exception of BJs because they can't match a price that low. Frank and Ryan were great. They told me 1 1/2 hours so i shopped and came back. My car was just being finished. Perfect timing. Thanks guys
