Well after getting all cleaned up we headed into town for dinner. Right before being served a gentleman named Arch I think, asked to join our table and wanted to shake our hands after shaking the hands of other paying patrons. I'm not a germaphobe, but come on. I did not come here to have some stranger invite himself to my table and may never return because of him. Nice guy, just not what I expected to deal with at dinner.I found the service to be subpar as no one checks up on you and they still expect 20 plus percent tip.

DEFINITELY GO BACK. Food was a SOLID 10/10. I have never been to Hawaii but I bet the food tastes exactly the same. We ordered the Musubi, Superb! We also got the Kalua Pulled Pork w/rice and a side of the macaroni salad. EVERTHING was a 10/10! Thanks to owner of Chubby Hawaiian, Mr. Archie for welcoming us to his restaurant. He made us feeling like home. Thanks again!

Chubby Hawaiian Grill is an absolutely wonderful little gem in Baltimore. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by the staff and welcomed by the authentic Hawaiian family diner atmosphere. I ordered the Sticky Chicken platter, which comes with 2 scoops of Jasmine rice and 2 sides. My picks were a side salad and the pineapple coleslaw. Get the bang bang sauce; you won't regret it. We ended our meals with Malsadas and Guava Jelly to dip them in. They are a MUST order!!Looks like they have events throughout the month, and a stage for a band to play. Cool little place to hang out. I will definitely make the hour drive to come back!

We had the sticky chicken platter and the steak platter. Both were very good, however the steak flavor will be remembered and talked about for quite awhile. The owner was very friendly and cares immensely about quality and consistency.

Food was just ok. Might be good for Baltimore, but not really anywhere else. Portions were small. After seeing some of the other reviews Arch is going to run people off pretty quickly. Looking forward to the next restaurant in this spot after he loses business. Guy is a prick.. can't take constructive criticism well. Tells me everything I need to know about him and his business. Will stay far away from his toxicity. Should change name to angry hawaiian.

Absolutely love this place, great friendly atmosphere great food reasonable prices . If you don't know what to order Lindsay will go over the menu with you and explain the wonderful dishes . If you're looking for a nice local restaurant this is the place !!!

Breakfast was really good as was the service. Give their breakfast or dinner a shot and let me know what you think. We really wish they had a liquor license. Nothing better than a BM or mimosa on a Saturday. Or a beer with dinner.
