Skoops in Barberton is by far my favorite ice cream shop. They have a large menu and always have new flavors to try. The homemade GF, DF options vary. They always have vanilla bean, and it's amazing. They also have different GF, DF flavors weekly. My husband loves the frosted yellow cake in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. It has chucks of cake and chocolate. It's not GF, DF. I ordered a scoop of soft serve cake batter and a scoop of fudgesicle. They were both rich, creamy, and delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, dairy free
This is a really great place to get your ice cream fill! They have so many cool flavors and they make sure to switch it out regularly. Decent serving sizes for the price and everyone is very kind. I would say the only downside is it takes a bit to get your food sometimes, but that can be expected with how extravagant the ice cream can be.

This ice cream stand is amazing! Not only do they have AMAZING deserts, but they also give back to their community as well. Their hearts are as big as their pumpkin pie sundae (which is fabulous). They give a percentage of their sales to local places to help pay it forward. I love what these new owners have done. Very impressed with each experience I've had. We drive from Ravenna Ohio just to eat here. Love, love, LOVE Scoops!

My husband recently got a job in Barberton, so we are starting to frequent the restaurants around here. Skoops has a wide variety of pretty much anything you can imagine, I have never seen a place quite like this. Last night was our second time coming here, I wanted the peanut butter fudge which is sugar free, it was so good! I was impressed at how you couldn’t even tell it was sugar free, great option for someone like me who loves ice cream but could cut back on sugar. Staff is always friendly and prompt, another rarity compared to other businesses, you will see a long line but they get through it fast!

Declicious, fast, and super friendly staff! I love the vegan options here! The fudgsicle non dairy was absolutely delicious. It tasted just like the treat I used to love but without dairy. Everything is reasonably priced as well! Tables outside were cleaned and we even saw a worker cleaning them off after customers left the tables. Definitely going back here!! Bidinger's in Wadsworth absolutely pales on comparison to Skoops!Vegetarian options: Vegan ice cream options
Love Skoops! Anytime they have the fresh banana custard, I have to stop by. The peanut butter sundae topping is made with real Jif and is the best around. The service is always so friendly.Bonus- my dogs love the peanut butter pup cups! So much so, that one of them went face first into the ice cream and had to get bath directly afterward ?. I’d say that’s some good stuff!
This place never ceases to amaze me. The staff is friendly and seems to actually enjoy working here. The quality of the ice cream is top-notch. Made from scratch and it shows. Lots of different options, so something for everyone. It's worth the drive to this location when the Seville location is closed for the winter!
