Completely worst experience i have ever had in this restaurant. On Friday i came in to get my food and I ordered it and was going to sit down and eat but the man in the front told me im not allowed to sit down and eat that it was carry out only and i said I can't just sit and eat and he made it clear im not welcomed to sit and eat however any other time i can sit and eat without a server I understand. Also since i had to leave i then drove and sat in the parking lot and ate in my car instead my fries were next to burnt and my mashed potatoes weren't completely stirred and was clumpy like the bottom of the bowl boxed potatoes. In my opinion he shouldn't be who takes orders or checks you out. He was very rude throughout the entire experience making me not even wanting to call for a replacement or want to return

I'd never been here before so my friend took me. We were very disappointed to find that you cannot dine in. We would have had to order, wait outside and then take the food to go.**02/16/2024 I feel the need to update this review after the response by White House Chicken Owner/Management: My gentleman friend and I were specifically told that dine in eating was not permitted by the young man that was behind the register. Please speak to him and the other female staff that was working during the time if our attempted visit on Sat. 01/27/2024 between 4:29 pm & 4:35 pm. Perhaps review the video footage.Again, We were specifically told we could order food, but could not eat inside your establishment. We were referred to another restaurant not far away that serves similar food. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time. Thank you.

Ordered a 12 piece dark with extra fries. Received a 12 piece dark with no fries. Super greasy. Breading falling off. I grew up on White House. Never again will I order from there. Id rather eat Popeyes.

Got all the things I was told to get... and the chicken was so undercooked the juices on my plate were bloody. Will never Come back. Mashed potatoes had no seasoning, the hot sauce was okay but no. The fries sucked all around super disappointed for wasting the money. I have no idea how this place has stayed in business.

I hate that this is the best tasting chicken and hot rice in Barberton, the customer service is awful to deal with. They tell you a 25 minute wait when it’s truthfully an hour wait. Then you get to spend all that extra wait time hearing the workers brag to each other about how messed up they got the night before AND how messed up they are now. Explains the long wait time I guess.

Better than Belgrade Gardens, but still a little bland.
I am giving 5 stars because historically, I have had minimal issues & I don't like to complain when I haven't had the opportunity to give a fair review of my previous experiences & I LOVE WH Chicken above all of the other Barberton joints.. But, I will say the last 2 times I've ordered from this location, the quality seems different. Last time the week of Xmas, I was missing Cole Slaw.. And I noticed the mashed potatoes used to be flavorful and a little tangy aftertaste which was wonderful pre-covid era But, now there is just something different about them that I can't figure out. This time I'm not sure if the fryer oil needs changed or the tenders were cooked too long But, there is a bitter taste similar to a mild burnt flavor or oil that needs to be changed. Years of going and I've never had issues until recently. The Cole Slaw & Hot Rice are as delicious as ever and save the day, regardless!! Maybe I just caught them on an off night so, I'm sure we will be back.. But, driving from Akron to get an occasional chicken fix when the family asks what I want to pickup for dinner might not be my first choice anymore. I hope your team is able to power through and rise above whatever the reasons (staffing, cost of goods, etc.) behind these situations is & get back to the great quality & consistency that I've grown to love over the years.

M- wow it was slide down hill. My family made it a regular on Sunday. I made the trip to my amazement no real service is available at this pillar of barberton chicken houses. Now customers carry out driven sad to say. Covid was blamed on the move away from a restaurant but I think the owners gave up. Hopkins Garden is a stones through away and still in fully swing. The atmosphere is dated no cup or ice hopefully they kept a few sets of silverware or I'll be eating with my hands. Let hope they still make chicken barberton style. Well you're in barberton but your are not even close to original. Rubber old chicken must rename the rooster on wooster something taste foul on that foul. Im not sorry to post many unfavorable reviews I just expect if someone takes the money needs to offer some value in exchange hard earned money.

Fries were burnt couldn't even bite into some they were hard as a rock. Had to wait 15 extra minutes for the food to be prepared. Over the phone they said 30 minutes, but took 45. The chicken was good they must have just changed the fryers out, but the fries just ruined the whole meal for us ... and of course we got double fries. I will likely eat there again after some time passes maybe they had a bad day. REVISION: I have sent 2 emails to the email provided in the reply and have not heard back.
