Ordered $325 of food (hibachi) for carry out delivery. No sauces or soup mixes were included and forgotten . Obviously sauces are important with this type of food. That's why they have sauces. Neither the door dash or Restaurant manager would do anything to resolve but say their sorry and I would need to pick up what was missing myself even though I have a 50 minute total commute. Based on principle, I'm done with this restaurant. I spend $750 a month at this restaurant but the manager could care less . Basically said he's sorry but it's up to me to drive 50 minutes if I want what they forgot.

Wish I could give 0 stars You know it's gonna be bad when you walk in to a restaurant and this is the first thing you see on the wall at the host stand... this place has hit way beyond rock bottom. No sense of customer service from our host or server. Our chef was really nice and it was fun to interact with him but the amount of BUTTER they use in the food is insane. 290$ later....We all got stomachaches after eating this food. We ordered the entrees that said they'd come with tea and ice cream, none of which were offered. The back of our table had a 4 by 4 folding room divider where all the employees were gathering and being loud... also looks like that's where they were prepping food. All which is so unsanitary. We will NEVER go back.

My Fiance' and I went last night 4/17/24 @ 8pm. which was actually his birthday. 1st the elevator was broken. Then the young-man (Host) with the braids stood right in front of us talking and laughing with another young-man and after about 7 minute he acknowledged us and said there was no reservation for us but did seat us after 10-15 minutes. We were seated with a family of 5 Mom, Dad and 3 daughters which were very lovely. The waitress was very friendly and appeared to be the only one serving the tables, but our table didn't get soup and salad until the rice and vegetables was already on our plates and still had to wait because she dropped the tray with the salads on them.the Chef (Greg) came to our table with a dirty filthy apron on (I've seen Asian Chefs change aprons before going to the next table) so his appearance was less than pleasant to look at. He kept the kids engaged and was friendly and nice. The food... We both had steak and chicken, the family had chicken dishes. The Fried rice was hard and stuck together and heavily over seasoned. My first issue was he gave us 4 small flat pieces of zucchini and a fork full of onions. Then he had 4 pieces of chicken breast on the grill... he used one for the mother, one for the dad, and one for the children's chicken and rice. He took the last one cut it in half diced it up and split it between the 2 of us, along with the full steaks, so we had like 7 small cubes of steak. The food was heavily seasoned with too much pepper and butter and we just could not eat it nor did we want it. The family did not eat all their food either and one of their kids got sick at the table and said the food burned her throat (speaking of the pepper). Our Bill would have been over $100.00 (but he did have the b-day coupon to take $30 off) but we were charged for the pop that was barely touched $10.00 and given to go cups of pop (that we threw out). That was such a horrible experience for someone who was celebrating a birthday.Parking: Try to park in the back I guess the elevator works on the rear entrance.

Our family of two grandparents, two parents and a 4 and 1 year old went to Benihana to celebrate our daughter's 36th birthday. We had reservations and arrived on time. Hardly anyone there. Several employees standing around. After 20 minutes we were seated. No offers of drinks, etc. The chef at the only table in our front room seemed to be cooking food with anything but flair. Our grandson was disappointed after what he'd anticipated. After 15 more minutes with still no offer of service from the waitstaff. We had to leave. As to atmosphere, there was loud tinny music which didn't bode well for any kind of conversation.

Worst service! Except for our Chef everything else was subpar. The wait times are horrendous. It took them 20 minutes to give me my card back after I paid for the food. Never going back again.

I went here a few years ago with my pastor and his wife, and I really loved how they cooked the food right in front of you. It really made me appreciate what they did more watching the flames and they were almost dancing serving us. They even gave me some sake! It was beautiful. I'm trying to go back if not for another birthday, one of my friends' birthdays! They made my birthday special!

Yesterday I went for my Birthday celebration it was a total of 8 of us and our reservation was at 7:30 we didn't get seated until 8 after we were seated nobody came to the table to ask us did we want drinks or anything then after 45min the chef came and brought us drinks because he seen how long we were sitting and not getting any service. Then we waited another 20min before I asked for the manager he came offered us appetizers which were under cooked and disgusting then I over heard the waiter that finally came to our table telling another staff that she wasn't taking another table then she proceeded to take her sweet time talking to another table about her life we ended up leaving hunger and my birthday celebration was ruined never again. Thanks for a terrible birthday

The price of the hibachi was not worth what you receive. The vegetables only consist of zucchini and onion if you don’t like mushrooms. We also didn’t get the tea that was supposed to come with the dinner. The taste was good but for the value we will definitely go to otani’s instead.

I'm sad to say this will be the last time I will ever enter a Benihana restaurant again. This does not bring me joy. I have such wonderful memories of how they used to be. I have given them 3 chances over the past year. First in Arizona they failed miserably, 2nd in Florida even worse, and now I sit in their Cleveland location. They have hit rock bottom. My criticism is similar in all three Locations. No host to seat or welcome me. The entrance floor and carpet were filthy. Here in Ohio, Employees were on their phones and ignored my presence at the bar. I had to get out of my set & look for service. All I heard was obnoxious offensive music, and employees talking loudly about the ir personal life. After 13 minutes I was approached by a server. I ordered a beverage. I decided not to order food only an appetizer. Shrimp tempera which was soggy & small. So disappointed words can not express. I will now close the chapter on Benihana. Only to keep the wonderful memories of how it was years before, but is no more.

Now that I’m not sick anymore let me fill you in!There are 0 Japanese cooks which is WILD! We are paying for the experience and got nothing!Stephanie was nice but she should not be cooking food, she can kill someone! She cooked raw chicken with raw steak- insane! She cooked our food one at a time so nobody ate together! She was not cooking the food to it’s entirety especially the chicken.Of course we were getting small portions because she was giving the first people most of the food! For safety reasons she may not need to cook, nice lady but that cross contamination is insane!

With a party of 5, arriving 40 min from closing, I honestly expected a mediocre dining experience. How shocked and grateful to say that was not what we experienced! The staff was so kind, the chef was very friendly and attentive to our food allergies. The food was awesome! It was the same Benihana meal but made with love and passion. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. She smiled the entire time! Before leaving, I made sure to tell the manager how appreciative we were for such an amazing dinner. Considering we were in town for a funeral, this was a nice stop before heading home. **sorry I don't have pictures...it was so good we ate it all before I remembered to take a picture ?**Dietary restrictions: Very attentive to dietary needs and allergiesParking: Plenty of parking available

First time here since I've been in Cleveland. It took over a hour to get a take-out and order and the place wasn't even packed. Once I got the food it was lukewarm and I didn't receive everything that was promise. Missing white rice, no tea and barely any chicken. For $38 that's unacceptable. Was hoping to have my job function here this upcoming weekend. I heard that this was better than Wasabi. WRONG! We will definitely find somewhere else to dine at

When we got there the host and waitress were really dry and not at all personable but our chef made up for it. He was a real good vibe and kept us entertained. I really hope a (huge)portion of my tip went to him. Food was great and really enjoyed our

We came in as a family of 5 in hopes of getting the experience of an authentic hibachi restaurant. The restaurant was pretty ran down, but we also noticed there were zero Asian chefs which was a bit disappointing considering we went there for a certain experience. Our waitress was Okay no complaints really and the chef was nice but the food was lacking. The chicken was very dry, and the shrimp fried rice was also dry. Veggies was probably the best part. The food was very expensive for the quality of food and you can tell a cheap cut of chicken is what they’re using. The drinks were also really expensive but watered down. I doubt I will ever return.

The food itself is good but the portion size for the price isn’t as well as the service I went there 3/14 and I don’t plan on returning the server barely came to my table and we had to keep reminding her about refills and our salad the cook was good I was Also over charged for my son drink the experience was about 2-3 hours which is another reason I won’t be back
