Family went out for a late lunch/early dinner as a treat. Naturally, we all pigged out on nachos and tacos (well, a bowl for me btw) lol.I got the gulf shrimp, and boy, it was worth it! The shrimps (seven in total) were not only giant but also incredibly well-seasoned and cooked to order. Like, they were screaming flavor off the charts! And I'm a big spicy food fiend, too.Meanwhile, the sliced avocado and cucumbers were a nice cool contrast to the spicy seafood. The malanga chips were also equally delicious, even twenty-four hours later.Overall, it's a bit pricy, but if you want good contemporary Mexican food, then this is the place!

Not allergy friendly! I definitely got glutened here and it was one of the times I was the most sick after eating out. I told the server about my needs for gluten free and was assured that at this location all the chips were gluten free (he said this location only fyi) and out of the tacos I ordered they could all be made to be gluten free with a 100% corn tortilla. He stated they were very familiar with celiac at this location because many of the customers had dietary restrictions and that the "kitchen knew what to do". I got the chips and mango salsa and afterwards I noted the menu said the fryer was a shared fryer. I quickly took one of my GlutenEase supplements just in case, which is usually enough to stop any cross contamination issues. I ordered 4 tacos, but one came out with fried potatoes on top so I didn't eat it. One hour later I was as sick as I've ever been. I'm not sure that the chips were actually gluten free or what happened but if you're celiac I cannot recommend eating here. Or if you do get a plain salad. I noted also on the gluten free tacos (I didn't order these particular ones) they had some soy ingredients, which should have alerted me that they are probably using soy sauce with wheat as well.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our first experience at Bomba. We decided spur of the moment to go to Happy Hour. Our bartender, Jermaine, was phenomenal. He was personable, attentive and told us about some of the popular items on the menus. We had the Dragon Shrimp, Mexican Street Corn and BBQ Pork Quesadillas. Everything was delicious and Jermaine made great cocktails too. We’ll definitely be back soon to try more menu items. Check them out and enjoy!

This place started out okay. The menu was like Condado, which is a restaurant we like in Columbus so we thought we'd give it a try while we drove through town. We placed a takeout order for a variety of tacos and an order of chips. When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised to see lots of (empty) outside seating. We asked if we might be able to change our order from takeout to "eat in" so that we could eat outside, and the hostess asked the manager, who promptly said no. The hostess said she would but not when they are "so busy". The restaurant was mostly empty as it was just after 5:00. Anyway, we took the tacos and ate them across the street at the park. They were fine and I probably would have rated them as 3 stars (had to eat with a fork because they completely fell apart). We would probably have deducted a star for the rude staff/manager, but when we dumped out the small bag of chips that we ordered, there was a hair that couldn't have belonged to any of us. So that took it down to one star for us. Yuck.

I went here with my mom earlier in the year and the food just was not good. The taco options are really out there and it's not like you could customize any tacos you would want to order.

Food was great..a variety of healthier tacos and the Yucca fries are my go to.Shalonda the bar manager came over, welcomed me, explained specials and invited me back the first time I came, made me feel appreciated. However it’s the bartender Jermaine that makes each visit 5⭐️‘s! A knowledgeable mixologist is a rare find.. and he is a ?! Made me a custom top shelf rum cocktail of the top of his head! ?

You never go wrong at Bomba. Just like their sister place Paladar, you're going into a pleasant and friendly environment where you know you'll get really good Mexican / Latin food, since it doesn't stop at Mexican. Multiple visits, multiple deliveries, and never disappointed. They're craft-your-guacamole option is great for appetizer but their salsas are also really good. The tacos are varied, creative and tasty, same for their different bowls. So you don't stay thirsty with all of that, Bomba also has great drinks to pair with the food, again creative on the margarita options, but even the traditional one is really good. Basically a regular here and they deserve it, as the consistency of the taste should always be recognized as a must.

Rally solid taco joint!Food: We had five different tacos, each was very distinct and flavorful. They had options all over the map from barbeque to Korean to traditional TexMex. My only suggestion is to ease up on the sauces -- the fresh and pickled veggies on the tacos were crisp and amazing, but drowned in sauce which muddled the flavors a bit. The sauteed plantain appetizer was great, the plantains were perfectly cooked, not too soft, not too hard or greasy.Atmosphere: casual, comfortable, not too loud or too cramped. Nice bar with excellent bourbon and tequila selection, decent beer selection.Service: they weren't super busy, so our server was very attentive and friendly. Food took a little while, but everything tasted freshly cooked and hot.

I enjoyed ????? ???? ? with my mom for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It’s definitely a unique Latin-American eatery. We ordered cheesy bread with honey, spicy shrimp taco, the yard bird taco, Baja shrimp ? taco, plant ? based taco, cauliflower wings and a charred pineapple lemonade ?. Everything was tasty. Good eats!

Fabulous tacos! Loved the choices. Service was excellent, even for take out. We sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited. The bartender was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and poured a mean Painkiller! Will definitely return when next in the area.

Love this place! The menu is diverse and has a variety of sides. Ordered the mahi tacos, carne asada tacos and several sides including cucumbers with chili, plantains and elote. I normally cant find plantains and I love them, but they had them here and they are good. We also loved our elote (mexican street corn) which was not overly smothered with sauce or cheese. It was grilled to perfection and had a nice smoky flavor. Food is fresh and service was fast, which I normally cant say for takeout. Will definitely return.

My gf and I were in Cleveland and wanted to try something in the Beechwood area. She decided on Bomba. Parking was good and the place had a very nice vibe. Kinda Latin fusion feel to it. The menu had some items we had never tried before. Smoked Corn and Caramelized Onion queso served with tortilla chips and crispy plantains. Coconut Mango rice. Blackened mahi-mahi taco, Korean Bulgogi taco with Kale Kimchi, Pulled pork Taco with Tamarind bbq sauce and a Smoked Brussels with pickled red onion taco. We also tried a flight of Margaritas: Watermelon Jalapeño, Pomegranate-Ginger, and Charred Pineapple. Your taste buds are doing a happy dance just by description right! We ordered the queso and margaritas first. Came out pretty fast and it was incredible. The cheese stayed melty and I really loved the flavor boost of the corn and caramelized onions. And the fried plantains were a bonus! Next the margaritas. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to margaritas and prefer traditional. I didn't care for the Watermelon Jalapeño or the Pomegranate-Ginger (I love ginger but couldn't detect any ginger flavor). I did like the Charred Pineapple...if lots of char and pulp in your drink is acceptable. I didn't mind it but they weren't as strong as the Same Same margaritas at Local Cantina. The tacos took 25 minutes to come out which I felt was a little long. They looked incredible when they arrived and that's when things went downhill. For the time it took to prep, I expected hot fresh food. I took a bite of the Blackened Mahi-mahi and the fish was between room temp and cold. Not good. Took a bite of the Korean Bulgogi. Same thing. Took bites of the last 2 tacos. All cold. Instant and complete turn off. At that moment I got F.O.B.G. (Fear of Bubble Guts). I tried the Coconut Mango rice because my girl seemed to like it. Ironically I almost singed my taste buds on the rice. Way too hot and I was hoping for a sweeter flavor. At this point I was throwing in the napkin. I didn't finish my tacos and my girl could tell I wasn't happy with the experience. The bill came to $57 plus tip. Had the tacos been close to the temperature of the rice, it may have been a better experience. I didn't complain, I just paid and left. I always go with my 1st impression because that's the real one. I honestly can't say I would recommend or go back when in the area again.
