“They just renovated the space so it's more modern. The service counter is also different with its glass lid. Food and service same as before. Prices seem to be inching up and still no cucumbers so value inching lower but i believe it's still the cheapest sandwich shop, but not by much.“

“I finally got to bring my husband here after dining twice with my son & absolutely loving it, & now he sees what we have been raving about! It has the perfect environment for a nice date night that doesn't break the bank. Our server was pleasant & attentive. I enjoyed the Diver Scallops - hand caught scallops pan seared w/roast butternut squash risotto + grilled Bok Choy toasted pepitas + herbed gremolata + parmesan + crispy fried sage ($36). The scallops were cooked to perfection, as was the risotto. There were so many delicious savory flavors & the Bok Choy added a nice crunch. It was the perfect meal for a cool evening & the portion was perfect. Absolutely worth every penny. My husband had the El Diablo Burger - ghost pepper jack + barbacoa + pico guacamole + shaved lettuce + smoked garlic aioli ($22). I am typically not super into barbacoa, but this burger changed my mind. The guacamole was so creamy & helped balance the heat from the cheese. The meat was tender & delicious, very well-seasoned. Neither of us could get over how amazing that burger was. Would absolutely order again. The menu does change seasonally, but so far I have had nothing short of a 5-star experience & have had something different every time, which is unlike me, but I like that the ever-changing menu gives me that opportunity. Being located in Summit Park also gives diners the opportunity to enjoy all the beauty the park has to offer before/after a nice hearty meal. I know we will absolutely be back again.“

“First time visiting shortly after a Friday opening prior to lunch and they're already busy. Sat at bar. Available tap beers are from local breweries. Had a pint in warm glass as they do not chill or freeze glasses. New York style pizza was great tasting first couple of bites in then you're left will a lot of chewy crust. Not enough toppings or cheese. Wish they gave option for edge-to-edge toppings as the crust flavor blends excellent with the toppings. Parmesan fries are top notch as for an appetizer had a kids meal which includes production cheese sticks - will pass next time. No option for hot pizza sauce unless you order meatball sauce which is unique.The building interior is art deco style from the 1930's and I really like the creative decor within including the Subway restrooms with public announcements, nice touch! Only interacted with bartender and manager both we very professional and seemed to really care about the customer which led to an overall pleasant experience. Highly recommend. Be warned parking is tough and long waiting times to be expected during peak times. “Wonderful flavors! Pillowy homemade pitas! Small business. The wait staff was pretty busy, so we sat for a bit. We made a meal of appetizers. The menu has a true name to those of us who don't want to butcher the language name for the foods. Example: cheese pies. It is in a strip mall but don't let that deter you.“

Everything was delicious BUT do not sleep on these salads. I know... salad on taco Tuesday? YES only if its that Johnny salad at Bakersfield! “We stopped by Sleepy Bee cafe for brunch on a Sunday. The place was packed. We joined their waitlist on Yelp and were seated in 5-10 mins. This is a women owned business that locally sources everything they make. The food did not disappoint! We tried the mocha and the cappuccino. Both were excellent! Probably the best coffee I have had in a long time. For food, we got the Avi scramble and the breakfast burrito. Both were really good. We also tried their pancake of the day - the mango crunch cake. It was delicious and light - not too sweet either! The service was prompt and they do a great job making sure you receive your food promptly. They were very attentive despite being busy!“

“We stopped in today for lunch/dinner and it was our first time eating here. I got the fried chicken sandwich, my sister got a burger and my boyfriend got the nachos with smoked chicken. The chicken sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches that I have ever had and I haven’t had many of those and the fries were delicious. My sister said the same thing about her burger and my boyfriend really liked the nachos. The server was very friendly and attentive. The pistachio has a great pistachio flavor and is not overly sweet. The birthday cake is strawberry-forward and is excellent if you have a sweet craving. The fruity cereal tastes exactly like fruity pebbles. They have other flavors we enjoy as well, like salted caramel and Madagascar vanilla. They are delicious and so cute! First impressions were, space was on the smaller side but all tables were pretty much filled up and our host also being our waiter was the only one working the front and answering the phones. Seemed intense but he was composed and doing a great job. We started out with the Udon sampler a combination of 2 spring rolls, 2 crab Rangoon, 2 pot stickers, 2 butterfly shrimp, 2 chicken egg roll. Our favorites were the crab rangoons and pot stickers. My husband does not like crab cheese wontons, (rangoons) and was surprised how much he loved the rangoons. They were very good! For my meal I ordered chicken pad thai. I can be pretty picky about my pad Thai but I enjoyed theirs, pretty good, a bit different. The chicken was very tender. My only nitpick was the sauce was on the wet side a tad watery but overall the flavors were there and delicious. I also noticed how many pick up orders were going out, this must be the place to order takeout. My husband and I could not help counting the number of people coming in for pick up. Now I had an issue with my food, and I notified our waiter about it, and he apologized. When it came to our bill our waiter went above and beyond, he leaned in and apologized again and said our bill was taken care of. My husband and I were taken back as we were not expecting anything, just wanted the issue to be noted. Of course, we left a deserving cash tip on the table. I have decided not to say what my issue was because of the way our waiter handled it and how sincere his apology was. Just an honest mistake in my opinion. We are very excited to come back again and try some sushi as I did get a glimpse of it and looked great or try something new.“

Service is self-serve, with pick-up at sandwich counter, though you're encouraged to tip at checkout. You can take your food out or enjoy it at a table. A good option next to the Convention Center, though there are several full service restaurants 3-6 blocks down the street from the Convention Center.“

“I’m a frequent customer because Nekter is amazing! They have great bowls and juices. I always feel healthier after eating/drinking their products. Only one confusing point: they have a saying “skip the line and order online.” Well yesterday I ordered ahead online, but when I got there they were busy with in-person orders. I was the very last person served despite having ordered before everyone. I received my order 20 minutes after the original estimated time. I asked the worker and she said they prioritize in person orders. So if they’re busy, I guess it’s faster to order in person? Otherwise great place and great staff.“

“Friends recommended this restaurant for year but I didn't really consider it because I'm not vegan. I was missing out. 2 weeks ago I tried the Philly and I've had it 4 times since.nit is so good, perfectly prepared and the banana peppers hive it the perfect boost. I like mine without the ketchup but it is always perfect any way they serve it. Always get the house salad too. I save half for the next day and it stays fresh. The balsamic dressing is tasty. For the taste, quality, and dietary needs, this is a 5 out of 5! Missing a few big bites because i couldn't wait!“

Both times we had a very large order and I have to say that not only was the food delicious, but we were so impressed that our order was correct both times No mistakes! “The place to go for dessert! The macarons are delicious in every flavor if you want a little bit of sweetness to finish dinner. You can get a 6 piece pack or a 12 piece pack and can choose to have different flavors in the pack. The store itself is small and plain but does not take away from the macarons. The cashier was very nice and let us take time to choose the flavors we were interested in. Definitely not a packed place to enjoy a bit of sweetness on a cold day.“

“Food- Excellent Server- Excellent Customer service-lacking. Front desk only. I made reservations a week ago because I knew the restaurant would be packed and I was right. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and when I told them that we needed a table not a booth they instantly stopped in their tracks and the manager said they didn't have any tables as they were all being used for large groups and I didn't specify my preference in the reservation notes. MY fault apparently. We were asked if we would like to sit at a funky little swirly table in the bar that was a low top and we could be seated on stools or we could wait. That angered me. Why make the silly reservation then???!! We opted for seating at the bar, but realized soon that we would have very little space for our dishes as the table was quite small. I was a little annoyed, and told my husband if we would have had nowhere to sit it would have not been pleasant. However my annoyance with them began to disappear as Amanda gave us flawless service. Our meals were brought out in a timely manner and were correct. The food was incredibly good. The small table issue was a non-issue as Amanda bussed the table as soon as we took our last bite and whisked away each dirty dish. She promptly brought out refills before we needed them. Amanda redeemed the restaurant due to their poor planning for the customer seating. They should have had some tables reserved for patrons who were not as handi-capable as others. I learned my lesson to specify our needs in the future; and the 5 star review is largely due to Amanda's efforts. Good job Amanda!“

They never attempted to include the new plant-based meat alternatives that would be welcome on the menu. The invasion of the valet parking on a vast number of parking spots makes the experience completely unpleasant.Parking: Very difficult to find parking. The service provided by the valet is inconvenient. Sometimes you have to wait a long time until they bring your car.“

“We used them for our wedding on 11.9.19 and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From start to finish, they were very professional, responsive, and easy to work with, not to mention very affordable. Their cakes were a huge hit at our wedding - they tasted amazing, adults and kids alike loved them, and they added a nice touch without being overpowering. Can’t recommend them highly enough!“
