I haven't had a buddy boy in ages. Ordered one, took forever then when it came the bag and the paper the sandwich was wrapped in smelled like ancient grease, like the grill hadn't been cleaned or the fryers were desperate for a change. Then there was the sandwich itself. Buddy boys are supposed to be succulent. Tender ham, yummy sauce etc. mine was dried, browned ham, tough as nails, almost no cheese, anemic tomato, I fed it to the dog.

The overall experience was not great. Food took forever to get to us. Food wasn't great, either. Fish sandwich didn't have much of a taste. The gravy looked questionable, and we were not provided with syrup for pancakes, even though it should be automatically provided. Waitress never checked back in at table. Chicken tenders looked... Bloated..? The Broccoli wasn't steamed entirely and was hard. The atmosphere is not something that is entirely enjoyable. There were no dietary restricted options, E.G. gluten free. Cups were foggy and did not look washed. Everything felt so crowded and uncomfortable.

Honestly, terrible. I ordered a Breakfast sandwich, similar to the Big Boy burger but instead I was served a Dennys Grand Slam (or an approximation thereof). The pancakes were dirty. Dirty. Grill scraping and burnt food pieces all over. I returned them, they were not replaced oddly enough. The sausage was tasty, not bland. Mack, you really tried and I can tell you're new... I get it. But the coffee was infrequent, my order was wrong, and no attempt was made to fix anything. You were friendly and apologetic but the entire experience was lacking. You deserve a better working environment. The cooks need trained. The whole store seemed to be in desperate need of leadership and a sense of overall competence. Such a shame really, we haven't eaten in years and were excited to try again only to be met with what I can optimistically call Abysmal. Made me wonder what I ever found good about big boy to begin withParking: Hard to turn left on poe, but decent spaces for parking. More parking than there are tables lolKid-friendliness: Crayons!Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessible and plenty of tables can fit one

Even though the restaurant was busy at 2pm, my server was prompt and attentive. My food was delivered fast and the joint was clean.

I've never had an issue with the food, but the service (9am ish) seems dismissive. I got a cup of coffee and the server talked to her friends, no refill for almost 30min. Coffee is just awful!

This was one of the rougher visits to Big Boy I've had in a while. It's usually good or what I'd expect. This time was pretty lackluster all around. The server was pretty bland & uninterested in being there. And while, I don't blame her, even a forced positive disposition is appreciated. I've done this kinda work. I know how hard it is to hide your lack of enthusiasm. Again, any kind of attempt is appreciated. There was no attempt made here...I got one of the open faced omelets. It came with the sausage gravy on it.This gravy's consistency was way off. It more closely resembled animal vomit than country gravy. I ate it... it tasted OK? But the look of it was pretty off-putting.Not in a hurry to go back here.
