On behalf of my family, I wanted to leave a quick review that is not necessarily “food related” for what it’s worth. My father recently passed away, but every weekend he would stop into Great Scott’s Bakery and chat with Scott and Heather. When my dad became ill and was no longer able to get his weekend cinnamon croissants and other treats for the grandkids, he would send us. Scott and Heather would always ask how he was doing and send their best – their friendship was a simple one, but one my dad truly cherished. Both Scott and Heather paid their respects to my father during calling hours and it was modest gesture that went a long way in the eyes of my family. We will forever continue to support this local bakery in any capacity we can – thank you Scott and Heather.

I got cupcakes here for my husband’s birthday and they were absolutely delicious! Some of the best I’ve had. Several guests at the party asked where they were from. I have also been in for coffee and dessert for my kids and the owner was very helpful and accommodating.

My wife has raved about this bakery on her many trips back to Ohio. We moved to Texas years ago and none of the bakeries come close. Finally I had a chance to test it out for myself. It was a near heartache when we called ahead and were told they were out of cream puffs (her favorite) but we figured we'd head over after church regardless. Much to our delight they made us a couple of cream puffs along with setting aside a few other things we ordered. The brisket and pepperoni loaves, my goodness! The strawberry crustada, (I think it was) delicious! I want to hop on a plane and head back already!
OMG. If you have not tried it ... You must. Bought a cupcake, cinnamon buns and chocolate chip cookies. They were amazing.

What a place! We make it up a few times a year from Mansfield and have tried the cassata cake, brisket rolls and bourbon soaked cupcakes… they are already amazing and seem to be getting better and better every time. Scott is a master of his craft and makes amazing made from scratch goodies. Cannot recommend enough!

Amazing cassata cake. Fresh sliced strawberries, perfect crumb in the cake…and the whipped cream/buttercream filling and frosting had no trace of the usual bitter bakery frosting.It was my first time trying any of their baked goods and I will definitely be a future customer.
