Food was terrible! Ordered the Bourbon Chicken and Chicken on a stick, chicken tasted boiled with no flavor.

Staff was friendly and service was good. Food was lacking in flavor. I expected my szechuan beef to have a little heat and flavor.

Each and every time that I've ate at Szechuan Garden, I have been pleased. I have never been disappointed with the service. I have just been surprised at the lack of business, most likely due to location. Best Chinese food in the area, without a doubt

First time trying and was super disappointed, food had no flavor and paid quite a bit for something I know my 9 year old could have done better. The shrimp was so over cooked that it just turned into paste. Egg roll was a spring roll with nothing inside, rice was under cooked and hard, the crab Rangoon and the lo mein had no flavor. Chicken ramen has more flavor.

I dont usually leave reviews, pretty much ever, but I saw some very negative comments and I've had a total opposite experience so I'd like to leave a review. First, one of the reviews said the food is better quality at lunch or dinner time, and I came at 6pm, though there were no other people, I just wanna say I mightve gotten a better end of it. I ordered jumbo fried shrimp, which was not out of this world, but pretty tasty. Then I ordered a lamb with white rice, hot and piquant sauce with zuccini/broccoli/onions/peppers served together. It tasted great, perfect combination of sweet/tangy/and spicy. I do agree, rice tasted a bit dry, but not to the point of stale. It did spread apart, but dried rice doesn't necessarily mean bad, just means less water was put in to make it, and it might be something of their recipe for a purpose. I do feel bad for some ppl who had bad experience here, but this restaurant is 1. Clean 2. Serves clean taste food unlike other so many american-based chinese restaurants who spike their food with msg for instant pleasure.I had a great experience here, nice and quiet place with a combination of peaceful, calm chinese music in the background.I did have my doubts before cuz of the reviews, but It turned out to be one of the better decisions I made today to visit the restaurant. All I'm saying is, before judging a book by its cover from negative comments, it might be worth a try before choosing another place. And it is most DEF better than McDonald's or quick franchise pickup, but obviously I can't speak for others.Good experience overall, good food, price is a bit higher end, but worth the time.
Restaurants I know are struggling, but the food quality has declined. Rice was dry and not the previous they used to serve, broccoli and shrimp was dry and portions much smaller. We will not be returning for carry outs. ?

I'm in coming here since the late '90s. They know what I want as soon as I come in. Always very friendly.

Had diarrhea before I even left kind of place.Soup was watered down, food was over cooked, tasted old, like the wok hasn't been cleaned and it's just building up old food flavors. Definitely had reservations eating it.Rice was instant? Like not sticky? Lo mein was pasta? LOL.
