Disappointed. Our dinner, we ordered the filet- bone-in - was so small - very disappointing, and over cooked even though we ordered it med- to med. rare. The sides were nothing special and the broccolini was not chewable - our appetizer, the sausage with lentils was also just ok. The risotto stuffed pepper was really tasty - however the sausage was overcooked and dry: the lentils bland. Only good thing - the server - oh and of course the wine/ so for that reason I will Give three stars rather than 2. We went to the Elm after and the steak looked a heck of a lot better !!!

Our neighbors had stayed at Gervasi about a year ago and raved about the experience. In fact, some of the neighbors returned again for the April 8, 2024, Solar Eclipse. We were invited to join them and could not have been more impressed. The grounds, Crush restaurant, Still House coffee shop, villas and rooms were IMPRESSIVE. We imagined ourselves back in Tuscany with the stone villas, walkways, lattes, linguini dishes, wines, etc. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delivered almost immediately to our room. The weather cooperated and we dined outdoors on the patio of our villa with friends. Our only regret was that prior plans prevented us from attending Gervasi's See and Sip Solar Eclipse Party. Gervasi has many special events - outdoor concerts, seasonal parties, wine tastings, etc. We hope to return soon to see the flowers and trees in bloom and go to a party there.

Overall a great experience as usual. Knocked off a star only due to food being a slight miss in some areas. The ambiance and service were top notch and I will always highly recommend this restaurant for that alone, especially in winter it's very cozy and romantic in winter.For food, we tried the octopus appetizer and it was tender and cooked properly on its own but the dish overall lacked flavor. Paired with some tomatoes and olives and that's really it. No sauce or additional toppings to really bring the dish together. Could have done with some layers of flavor there... Although if showcasing octopus on its own I suppose it may work. The beef short rib dinner was also slightly missing flavors. The depth of flavors was just not as you would expect from short rib. It seemed it could have been cooked in some red wine and have that depth shine through a bit more. It just tasted a bit like a slow cooker meal at home.My chicken piccata also was not prepared in a classic Italian method as I was asked grilled or fried on the chicken. Went grilled and just plain grilled chicken on top of lemon cream sauce pasta. Not complaining much here as it was delicious!!!Overall for the cost, i expected a bit more. But still a SOLID restaurant for ambiance, service, knowledge from wait staff etc....

It is a great dining experience.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options for my 9 yr old granddaughter were a plus. Also it was her birthday. Free ice cream for her.Parking: Plenty of handicap ♿️ spots.Kid-friendliness: Alyssa included my 9 yr old granddaughter as one of the guests at the table, instead of relying on parents to order for her.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors at the entry were appreciated. Spent two nights on the property in the Villas. Dinner at the Bistro was perfect. Our waiter Brad was one of the best people we have ever met. His recommendations were spot on. We went with some colleagues for 55th birthday dinner. The food was ok however the service was horrible!!!!! I have been there several times and each time the service was impeccable. Which is why we chose this restaurant for our friend/colleague from Honduras. Our server Megan I believe her name was was less than subpar. I will think twice before bringing people to Gervasi’s again.

Normally, I would give them a 5 star for the food however tonight they came up short. Their parmesan risotto was rather dull on flavor, especially when it is compared to their sister restaurants' risotto. Even after we sent it back, it was still bland. Overall, it was an excellent experience for our 24th anniversary, though. We will definitely be back in the near future.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free options are available.
Cooper was an excellent server! Very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. Food was delicious. Lobster pasta and seafood chitarra were excellent. Scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly! We will be going back!

Our server was great bless her heart. Our food, and ambience were also top level in an intimate setting. The only reason I can rate 5* was the 1 1/2 hour wait for our order after it was placed. They comp us 2 free deserts though and our waitress really was fantastic.

If you're in the Canton, Ohio area this is a great place for a special occasion or just a very great place for amazing food and atmosphere. We came to Canton for a concert and made reservations after a personal recommendation from our son and daughter in law, who live nearby. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Great food and service to match.
This restaurant was absolutely wonderful. We had the fillet and it was done perfectly. I waitress was OK. We had eaten there two nights prior and our servers. Colin and Connor were absolutely exceptional last night. Waitress was OK. She was friendly just not attentive.
