I am familiar with Bob Evans products in grocery stores but this was my first time in a restaurant. We visited on a Friday morning about 8:30. It was pretty empty, and the service was pleasant and fast. My companions enjoyed a steady flow of coffee, and the food was good all around. Nothing fancy, but good, basic home cooking. I had an omelet with cheddar and mushrooms, along with biscuits and hash browns. I really liked the homey vibe of the place.

Arrived and found 9 empty tables and still had to wait to be seated. We were told they only had 2 servers, but seated with a menu is better than standing around.

Disappointingly bad service, undercooked food, 50 minute wait. Never again for dinner. Breakfast is usually much better so I gave an extra star.

We ordered two Homestead breakfast meals with hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were raw potatoes. Looks like they were put on grill, flipped once with slight browning and put in to go container. The potatoes were gross. This will probably be our last time eating Bob

Food is predictable, consistent, large portions and appears as it does on the menu. Staff friendly but busy. Atmosphere typical, clean.Vegetarian options: Breakfast items, salads, would have to ask if some items could be eliminatedDietary restrictions: No label for gluten freeParking: Wheelchair spots available, parking around the facility, not great for semi-trucksKid-friendliness: Family friendly, kids menu, games and crayons offered, highchairsWheelchair accessibility: No problems, seats at tables,

Ambience: remodeled "recently" and always cleanLike many others diners, this property has problems retaining servers and staff, so inconsistency is the new "ok"We like this dinerIn our area, we may order togo breakfast from Bob, First Watch and Cracker Barrel. Cracker B seems to have a policy to begin the order when one enters the store, and this has eliminated our CB ordersFirst Watch will email pickup at 9:15 and the order is always ready at 9:15Bob Evans will email pickup at 9:15 and that translates to 9:30 - so we allow 15 extra minutesBob E will update menu, and we discovered "Homestead Farmer:"Our signature sausage gravy and freshly-baked biscuits with two fresh-cracked eggs cooked-to-order, choice of premium breakfast meat and choice of hash browns, home friesSounds great and tasted great. Allowing for the extra 15 minutes our order was ready "on time"Full parking lot, and 20 folks waiting to be seatedUpon picking up our order a lady in a red sweatshirt near the door screamed "yea" -- the server had just apologized for another 15 minute late take away order

Our waitress seemed more interested in being a social butterfly with the coworkers than paying attention to her section. Husband ordered a ham cheese omelette. The eggs looked like they were deep fried. We both looked for even 1 piece of cheese, patty sausages were overcooked, toast? It would have had to be actally put in a toaster, and what was the yellow funky stuff on his bread? My over medium eggs were correct, hash browns? Heavy with oil that was clearly rancid. Coffee was barely warm. Had our social butterfly stopped by to even ask how the food was would have provided a chance to request new food. Like, ALL OF IT.HOW SPECIAL. THE SO CALLED MANAGER POSTED THAT REPLY AS IF THEY CARED!!! INVITED ME TO MAKE CONTACT!! THE LINK SENT ME TO A FORM TO FILL OUT. SO STUPID!!SO I FOUND THE CORPORATE PHONE NUMBER AND GUESS WHAT MY FELLOW AMERICANS. BOBBY EVANS OUTSOURCES TO OVERSEAS TO ANSWER THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE (COUGH COUGH) PEOPLES.BOYCOTT THEM!!!!!!
