Went to Doubledays' for dinner today, which is 2024 MLB opening day. Ironically, this restaurant which is named for the originator of the game of baseball wasn't able to show a single MLB game since they don't subscribe to the channels carrying today's games. Pretty disappointing. The food was above average and the service was good. Overall atmosphere is ok but lacking in personality. Friendly patrons.

Pizza was amazing. Good size too. Our 1st time there. Our server was nice..she could of smiled a little ? the pretzel bites where good but cold & the beer cheese was nasty. Tasted like it was powdered based. Wont get that again. The kids chicken fingers & fries where also cold. Luckily the pizza came out hot & freshI will be back to try a burger or sandwich, they looked pretty good tho. For 3 sodas 2 pizzas a kids meal & pretzel bites it was almost $75 a bit high but again i will be back

Many many choices! I had the Texas size pork tenderloin sandwich with a Mac and cheese side. It was delicious! I will be back to try at least five other things

The food is amazing. They have an assortment of pizzas and appetizers to choose from, as well as many kinds of sandwiches/burgers. Whenever I came to here, I know that I won't leave hungry! ?

I had not eaten at Doubledays for several years. The last meal I had there was less than good, and the service...even more questionnable. At friends request, I met them for dinner last night (3/20/2024). I was most pleasantly surprised, and from the inception of our seating, the server was TOP-NOTCH! Karyn Konicki is her name, as I asked her before I left. She not only recommended an excellent chicken sandwich, did not forget that I wanted a couple of the sandwich add-ons put on the side rather than on the sandwich, but was more than on her game at making sure that I had something to drink, checking to make sure my and my groups food was good, asking if I/we needed anything (several times), and was not gruff like so many servers are today. You have an ABOVE PAR server here! I travel a lot for work, interact with many servers at countless restaurants from Boston to Dana Point, CA, and this girl is far and away the BEST I have had the pleasure of being served by. If I were your managerial staff, I would not let this girl go anywhere else, I would cerainly take good care of her, she is a genuine asset to your eatery! SHE is the reason that I will make this a new regular restaurant to frequent, and will invite friends to do just the same.........and when I do, I will most certainly ask to be served by her and will wait for an opening in her section. With full sincerity and honesty, I thank you for allowing me to elaborate. Eric Davis

The fried pickles, caesar salad and meat lovers pizza are amazing! The wait wasn't long at all. The outside is misleading because it's quite large on the inside. Love that it's locally owned and the servers are absolutely lovely!

Good pizza for sure. Get it takeout though. All 3 times we've eaten at this place we've gotten seated in a dark corner 24 inches from the kitchen door. We refused that corner this time and got put in a tiny table next to a party of 30 people. The table was way too small for pizza. There were bigger booths open... why seat us there? The hostess was unfriendly, glib, and very slow to recognize we were standing there. We left without ordering. We told the hostess we were leaving because we didn't like our table. She responded with "it's all good!". No, it's not.

Went here for lunch. The food was okay, but we felt a bit rushed to order something because of our waitress. We were seated in the corner, so we didn't get a feel for the ambiance. The KOBE Burger tasted like any regular Burger. The Cowboy was a huge, bigger than the KOBE.

Tried placing a take order over the phone. Was on hold for over 20 minutes. I got to 3rd in line then it said I was 11th. I continued waiting. It finally said I was next up then told me I was 9th in line. I hung up and ordered somewhere else. Not sure what was going on.
