The original is a great place to go. I enjoy getting something different each time. Food for the whole family. My youngest loved the cheesecake.

Not your average tavern. The place itself is nicely laid out - didn’t feel like cramped at all. Food was delicious and the appetizers were amazing, plentiful. Our server was attentive as well.

So 6 years ago I left the below review. which you can see under this one I am doing today. I thought by now they would have gotten their act together. Giving local restaurants my hard earned money is important to me so I figured I'd give them another try.....6 years is enough time to do better. Not so...never going back here again! I orderd the Ceaser Salad with Salmon and a side of vegetables. The side of vegetables of which I paid plenty for consisted of 3 pieces of sliced Zucchini, two pebble size pieces of onion and a tiny square of a red pepper. Are you kidding me? $7.00 for a side of vegetables that literally would have left a 9 month old hungry! I called the restaurant to see if they forgot to include a side and all the girl on the phone could say was "sorry that's just how we do it." The salad was not good and once again, even after telling them more than once the food came to me with no napkins and no plastic utensils. Burntwood Tavern loves to have you eat your take out food with your hands! There are so many other restaurants who deserve my hard earned money...this is definitely not one of them. Poor food, poor service, poor everything. I'd stay away and try some other restaurant around town. Once bitten...twice shy! Horrible!Just picked up take out when I told myself I wouldn't do it again. Flatbread was ice cold, hummus was not good, and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for food to come out when we gave them a 1/2 hour notice before pick up. They didn't seem too busy so not sure why that happened. Anyways never been impressed with this place so not going back. Great atmosphere and good looking building but had more than twice mediocre experiences so its off the list.

We had to wait an hour at the bar for a table to open up for us. We had 7:30 dinner reservations and were not seated until 8:30. However, we understand the staff shortage that exists in today's world. We enjoyed some drinks at the bar and everything worked out well. Our server was great!

Had reservations at 7 and did not get seated until 7:50. During that time we were never asked if we would like a drink, etc. I finally went to the bar and asked if someone could/would take a drink order. In my opinion they way over booked. I realize a lot is out of their control but this was unacceptable.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The Mardi Gras Jambalaya was delicious!!!! Our server, Dante, was outstanding! He said he had only been serving for 3 months. You have a terrific team member there! When we come back we will request him!

I found a place to be charming. I was let down by the menu, just about every item listed had spice in the ingredients. I ordered chicken under dinner menu it didn’t state that it had any spice in it yet it left my lips burning. I am someone who likes spice but even for me that was a bit much. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is cozy and clean, so if you like spice, with everything you eat I recommend this restaurant. You will need a picture of water on your table. The two friends I went with one of them stated they should have named the restaurant Spicewood Tavern we were celebrating her 30th birthday. she asked if they could not put the peach jalapeño glaze on her pork chop. Which they accommodated her and put a different sauce on for her and placed the peach jalapeño sauce on the side. at the end of your meal they bring you out a glass of champagne, which was unexpected, very thoughtful. and was not spicy. Thank you.Parking: Limited parking

Really enjoyed our night here in Chagrin Falls. The dinner was great for all four of us. The fish dinner I ordered was amazing. The cocktails were excellent and the service was top notch. Only downside was if you did not want to valet park. I could imagine on a busy night that this place is very difficult to park, as this night was not busy and we parked down the street. Restaurant was excellent though and I would recommend a visit.

Nice local eatery - not a big menu but what we had was well prepared. Avocado toast and Blackened Shrimp Street Tacos were nicely done and tasty. Relaxed atmosphere and good staff made this a great place to eat.
