Very clean and the food was pretty good. The server was wonderful. I just wish the menu had a little bit more, and they only have burnt ends one day a week, that was disappointing. But we're definitely going back!

The barbecue is delicious and very reasonably priced, staff very friendly, and the establishment clean. This is where you go for the food - not the ambiance, or music, or drinks. We loved the sampler platter and smoked ribeye.

Incredible barbecue! The pulled pork and beef brisket smoked daily are moist and delicious. The basic barbecue sauce was so good that I wanted to have it at home. The sides, prepared in house, were also excellent especially the baked beans, sweet potato casserole, and Mac and cheese. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly prepared too! It was our first visit and Kenzie, our server, gave us great suggestions and was attentive. This place is worth a return visit soon. We're looking forward to trying the loaded fries and stacked bowls.Make the trip, you'll be glad you did!

I went there for the first time. Eyes bigger than stomach. My suggestion take friends. Get loaded fries. Get the mad dog. Just get whatever they have. It's all

On a prior visit to Chillicothe my wife and I got to enjoy Old Canal Smoke House--and I came away thinking it was the best BBQ I'd had east of the Mississippi. But I saw how highly rated was 7 Mile's and I now have co-champs. This restaurant is unassuming but very comfortable. The service was first-rate. The menu is extensive, with all the usual barbecue options plus burgers, intriguing sandwiches, and a range of appetizers and sides. I had the beef brisket sandwich--my go-to to assess the quality of the pitmaster. It was a bun containing generous thick slices of great smoky beef. They provided their own sauce and I added a bit to a bite and decided this brisket didn't need any. My side--again testing them--was onion rings, which I suspect were hand-cut and made entirely from scratch. Rice onion flavor, uneven sizes and thickness, clearly deep fried to near perfection since the onion did not slikde out of the breading. Their manu offers two varieties of "stackers"--borls containing several items all together. My wife got the Barbecue Sundae Stacker, with pulled pork and sauce, topped with baked beans and slaw. Sounded sterange to me, but she enjoyed it thoroughly. Our companion got a short rack of pork ribs, cole slaw, and their sweet potato casserole--emphasis on "sweet". They do not serve alcohol here, but their iced tea is a cut above--not only fresh brewed, but carefully timed with a good quality teabag. I am now eager to return and try their "Barbecubano" sandwich, and maybe their signature Mad Dog sandwich (if my wife agrees to eat half of it!). Seems to me that I'll be back at Old Canal if I'm craving excellent craft beer with my 'cue and 7 Miles if I want a broader menu. Either way, superb work at the smoker!

A gem of a local restaurant! The brisket was moist and tender and perfectly seasoned. Looks unassuming but really exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!Dietary restrictions: Server was happy to accommodate my wheat allergy by double checking ingredients

I've been in love with the sweet potato casserole for years. I'll even order an entire pan for Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners.

The food was really good. The restaurant was clean and service was on top of everything. The restaurant tho had a smell of a backed up drain throughout the entire place. Which made it hard to eat the delicious food.

Very disappointing. Unseasoned & bland. I gave them 2 stars as the meat was tender. I got the pulled pork, brisket, chicken platter with green beans and Mac ‘n cheese- ALL WERE BLAND!!!! Even the BBQ sauce was horrible. I could get better from a bottle sitting on a grocery store shelf. A waste of money. Don’t do it. Terrible.

One of the best briskets I’ve ever had. Wish the fat cap was trimmed a little more but it was very good as were the sides. Hreat service too, and it was very clean. Highly recommend.

Super casual, but the food is beyond amazing. The sweet potato casserole was to die for, and the ribs fell right off the bone. Service was fast and friendly, and our waitress anticipated our needs. Will definitely be stopping by again despite being from out of state!
