Great experience, takeaway only no seating. The locals recommended the cod and it was definitely value for money at $14/or $13 (I forgot) for massive pieces of fish, with fries and bread. Tasty batter, great staff working there who were friendly and even reminded me about my change. Pleasant experience at Cincinnati and I’d love to visit again.

Hot battered fish, made to order. Perch, cod or whiting. With french fries and/or coleslaw. And a packet of warm grilled peppers and onions. It's not the best ever but it's very, very good. Take out only. It's good for a quick bite on the go. Or take it to Washington Park for an al fresco lunch in the park.
This place has completely changed since I was a kid. The food is so hit or miss. Half the time the fish has too many bones. Small portions for double the price. I'm willing to bet that about 95% of their customer base is Black Americans. A lot of the people that patronize this place live in the neighborhood. It's pretty disgusting to see them continue to rip off my people and take our business for granted. $14 for 5 tiny, bone filled pieces of cheap fish. I wish Black folks would just stop supporting this business and let them fail. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
