Always a good choice. Entrees are shareable and I always leave with leftovers! My partner and I get two different vegetarian entrees (matter paneer is my favorite) and we both leave with yummy leftovers.

Ambar India restaurant on Ludlow Ave was a disappointing experience. The food had a bland taste, lacking the authentic flavors I expected from Indian cuisine. Additionally, the portion sizes were incredibly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied despite the high prices. The menu was exorbitantly priced for what was offered. Additionally, they've struck out prices on the menu and increased each item's price by 2-3. Not only does it make things very confusing, but also makes you wonder what they're trying to pull off and why not print a new menu.Overall, a disappointing and overpriced dining experience that I would not recommend.

Food was OK but the server was arrogant. Not at all worth the price.

I ordered the Chicken Makhani at a level 4 spice. Also ordered the Naan bread stuffed with cheese. Came out very quickly and was hot. Tasted amazing, really loved dipping the bread into the sauce. The entree came with a side of rice too. I think the portions are solid, in fact if you wanted to share with another person you definitely could. Service was good, all the employees were very nice and our waitress made sure we had water and such. Overall this is a very solid Indian restaurant and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for Indian in this area.Parking: Parking behind restaurant.

Best Indian restaurant in cincy. Chicken Tikka Masala with paneer Naan is my go to.. Portion size is great. Enough to feed 2 or eat leftovers a time or 2. I can't really comment on service or atmosphere because I get takeout or delivery.

We ordered veggie somosas, butter chicken, and chicken tikki masala (I might’ve spelled them wrong). Wonderful place but prices are pretty expensive.

This place is my gold standard for Indian food, period. Every time I am in Cincinnati I make it a point to eat here. I've had Indian food in the best restaurants in London and I still prefer Ambar. My go to is the chicken tika masala and the saag paneer with garlic naan. The mango lassi is my bangarang I could drink a gallon of it straight up. I can't say enough good things about this place. The service is always fantastic too.
