I have known the café since it was inaugurated and I know the owners but when a Latino comes to eat they do not provide service and do not serve him well as they should, I had to get up to get my sugar and for me table service is very ugly because even if one is humble is going to pay it's not free they should be kinderVegetarian options: Rich

I made a brunch reservation for 10 as a birthday surprise for my wife. Our friends arrived on time with balloons and we arrived 15 minutes later so she could be surprised. Our friends had cocktails when we arrived but no water. By the time we finally were greeted by Kyra F. (15 minutes later) we had to request water for the table from her when we ordered our drinks. In fact, I made eye contact with her multiple times before she finally came to our table. Additionally, I had to ask for water a second time for the table after our meals arrived. Perhaps it's because there were children dining with us or because my wife and I were purposefully late, but our server seemed put off by our presence and was not very friendly. Not only did she not wish my wife a happy birthday (a small thing that goes a long way) there was never any acknowledgement of her birthday, even with reservation notes and the obvious decorations. What was the most unfortunate thing about the whole experience is that I picked Cafe Alma specifically because it's my wife's favorite place for brunch with her oldest niece. She always raves about the food (which was very good) and I wanted this birthday brunch to be special.

Good food and really nice place, it was a dark Irish bar previously. Most of the prices are reasonable, but I thought a bagel with cream cheese for $8 was high.

We came here on a Saturday at 11:30 AM. The food, service and ambiance were top notch. We ordered the Shakshuka, Omelette and 2 Israeli sandwiches to eat. To drink, we got the the carrot and orange juices. Both delicious and freshly squeezed/pressed. The star of the show is the challah bread. Cheers !

We had a birthday luncheon to celebrate my mom's birthday and everyone really loved their meal —there were 11 of us and everyone got something different. I ordered a chocolate cake from the bakery and it was delicious, but would have been better if the staff had taken it out of the refrigerator so the butter cream frosting would have been nice and soft. It was beautiful and tasty but fell off the cake in chunks so wasn't as pretty or melt-in-your-mouth as it would have been if it had warmed to room temperature. I would order again with this request! Highly recommend!

A big fan of Cafe Alma; however, last weekend I ordered the Harvest Salad that I've had before (and love!) and the portion size went from a full bowl to a side plate. Bummer that the portion changed, but that isn't reflected in the price. I asked the waitress about the change and she said she noticed it too as there is new kitchen staff. Heads up to anyone else that doesn't want to pay $14 for a side salad.*Greatly appreciate them quickly reaching out and explaining the situation!

We should have looked at the menu before we went because we didn't realize this was a vegetarian restaurant. We love Mediterranean but nothing we read let us know there is no meat. Although the food was pleasant none of us are vegetarian so we didn't quite feel satisfied and so it was just average for us. You could get things made with egg or salmon. If you are vegetarian I bet you would LOVE this place. Nice ambiance and very nice service. I would recommend to a friend IF they were vegetarian.
