I would like to start this reveiw by saying, I was hoping for better by a black ran establishment. So we and my friend came here yesterday after veiwing reveiws on Insta and Tiktok. We drove from the Dayton Mall area all the way out there and were very excited because the food looked awesome..... NOT AT ALL WHAT WE GOT!!! The first red flag was the smell of burnt grease, which should have sent us running, but no, we tried not to judge too hastily. After we were seated. Our order was taken by a kind young lady who kept reiterating that she was new after asking us multiple times what we ordered. I guess she was trying to be efficient. After our order was taken, we settled in talking and laughing, waiting on our food, 10 min, 20 min, almost 30 minutes pass, and we become concerned. Although stated at the front door, food is made to order, after 30 minutes, a person can get antsey. After be asked again by our waitress what we ordered, we overheard an exchange between her and another coworker about what seemed to be a mix up, our order was boxed as a carryout and I was even the order that was brought to our table! We didn't get the right drinks we ordered and they were way too sweet, we ordered the fish and fries, the fish was tough and and tasted like old grease, the mac and cheese was bland, the only thing that was edible to some degree was the potatoes and onions and even they had an off taste, I orderd the peach cobbler and it tasted like mashed baby food. My friend didn't like any of her food, and she had to water down her drink to make it feasible. After that disappointment, it was time to cash out, which was like pulling teeth! The young man kept talling my order incorrectly, and although it was a little over 20 bucks, I felt bamboozled!! Im so sorry to say we will not be returning!! Upon leaving 20 minutes later, my friend and I both started having stomach aches!!! I pride myself on being a patron to black businesses, but this one definitely was disappointing! In a lighter note, they had some good music, and they establishment would be cute in the summer...??♀️

Staff are friendly and the wings are solid. My rating is due to the speed of service. We went for the second time last night and each time food service was slow. We ordered at 7:30 and did not get our food till nearly 8:30. Wings and fries. In that time only three other tables and a handful of pick up orders went out. I think they are having difficulties with staff and scaling from their previous location.It’s a prime location and wonderful out door seating. I just can’t see how they will manage to serve the entire space. Hopefully they improve!

customer service was off the cashier seemed very annoyed and came off a lil rude ,for a first time customer I expected welcoming service. My husband came in at 1030pm to get a few wings after work and the cashier said in a annoying way “we stop takin orders at 10:20pm “ when the website says you all close at 11pm. I also was callin you all since 930pm and no one answered. So if u all stop takin orders at 10:20pm I think u should state that on the website To save people the time or atleast answer the phone .

It took 1hr 30 plus minutes for our food and the food majority of it was cold for that long of a wait was expecting all food to be hot!!! Sides were good Mac yams and banana pudding ?? The main course might have been better if if was fresh and hot. Wait the kicker was kids meal was a slap in the face literally two tiny like nuggets with sauce ???

Myself and my husband ate here March 29, 2024 and the lack of customer service was absolutely amazing. The young woman who seated us and served us often forgot about us would walk past and ask us what our order was multiple times couldn’t even remember that we ordered a sprite and a blue thing to drink. The hype surrounding the food on online is a lie. My husband’s fish was mediocre seasoned but not great. His fried potatoes and onions lacked flavor completely. They were Bland and unsatisfactory the macaroni and cheese was full of garlic. There was so much garlic in the mac & cheese that you could not Taste the cheese all you could taste was overcooked noodles and garlic. I had the chili cheese fries and six wings with ranch on the side. The chili cheese fries tasted decent tasted like they were homemade and the chicken lacked in flavor. I am unsure if they seasoned it or not however, what I am sure of is at about 5 o’clock in the morning myself and my husband were racing to the bathroom where we both spent approximately 45 minutes each relieving ourselves never again I love black business I support black business I love Black people I support Black people but bad service OK food and diarrhea was not how I wanted to end date night with my husbandParking: There is a small driveway that is easily missed. If you’re not familiar with the area in fact, we turned into an abandoned lot thinking it was the parking area however, it is not the parking is actually behind the building and if you are in front of the building there is a small driveway to the left that you can take to go back to the parking area, I just wish this was more visible because in the dark at night you’re gonna drive right past it

Our server was great. She was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. She told us it would be a long wait for our food, but it came out quickly. The fish was perfect. Great flavor, nicely seasoned, fried to perfection. I didn't care for the mac and cheese. The lemonade was good but a bit too sweet. I'm definitely coming back to try other foodsKid-friendliness: The music was a little loud for my 3 year old, but he liked the food and the lemonade
