If you want to dine in a hostage situation, this is the place to go. The bartender didn’t listen at all to an order, had no music going, was angry and flustered at someone coming up to order. Was going to order food but decided that after he threw the straw for the water we ordered on the filthy bar top (to accompany the 2 bloody Mary’s we ordered, of which only one was made), we opted to get the hell out of here. The vibe does not abide.

Visiting for the weekend we stopped in to share this longstanding cincy spot w my parents. We were saddened to see the state it was in.No enclosure on the patio so folks can enjoy during the winter, just seemed run down. Bartender was not very welcoming and he seemed to be confused on which glass was clean to pour my beer into.Mt. Adams beautiful but always a bit insular. Time for someone to do something different here and actually make good use of the space.

After waiting more than hour and fifteen to get our burgers , thru forgot to cool for one our party. When brought to staff attention, response that he got rushed and forgot. If you want great view of the city, this is your place , but not a place for group to go to eat .

Love this place! view is great, atmosphere is just perfect, and food always hits the spot. Philly burger is my favorite! Service is awesome and I always leave very happy. Drinks are served quickly, food takes a bit but is always worth it. Have to visit everytime I come downtown!

Can’t understand you everyone has told you about the gentleman for 2 years. whats wrong with you? Im sure he acts wonderful when your around. Put up a camera since you dont believe 50 people have told you! He is a jerk he happens to be rude. I guess you want to go broke.

Five for a dive! This is a quintessential dive bar that happens to have a great view, and offers really good burgers. There were three of us on a mid afternoon Thursday, hankering for a burger. The place was literally empty - even the bartender/cook/server was away somewhere. Luckily he returned and we ordered 3 burgers and 3 beers, and ensconced ourselves on the chilly but sunny porch that has the views. I had the Lagemann burger (served on rye sandwich bread with Swiss cheese and sautéed onions); hubs had the Philly; brother had the Big Ted Burger. We decided the Big Ted looked the best but all had the same delicious burger! Served with chips. This is a place to exercise your flexibility: their fridge was down, so no bottle beer and they were out of a couple things. We still got our drinks and got fed and caught up with each other. Bonus: my brother lived up on Mt Adams years ago and we got to hear all kinds of stories, details on what was out there in that beautiful view, and even some history. We had a great time. Hope you will too!
