I love my Matcha, and it doesn't get much better than their Matcha Sawa tea. It's a nice quiet out of the way shop that I feel an immediate ease upon walking in. Definitely going to come back and visit week after week. Can't help but relax and enjoy the slow steady musical accompaniment to the warm invigorance of Matcha tea leaves and do an afternoon's delight in pulling up a bench and table to read a book. I am so glad this place exists.

Essencha Tea House is one of my all time favorite spots in Cincinnati! First, their service is amazing. The lady who I always see working here is very kind and helpful when you need some tea suggestions. Also, one time I had an issue with the almond milk, and she was able to get it sorted right away. Also, they have been following COVID guidelines very well by having a limited amount of people in store and the employees always wear masks. Now to the tea. I love tea, and I love being able to get a whole pot here for a reasonable price. When you get the pot, it comes with a kettle, tea to resteep, milk of your choice, and a sweetener of your choice. I come here to study, and I can stay for hours with ho much tea you can get out of the pot. I've had their Masala chai (nice blend of spices) and their lemongrass tea in-store, which were great. I also got the Lemongrass, Lavender Earl Grey, and Thai tea loose tea leaves. The Lavender Earl Grey from here is one of my favorite Earl Greys. She also gave me a sample of the berry rooiboos to go when I was contemplating what tea to get, so nice! If you want great quality teas and a nice place to study or have a conversation with friends, this is the place to go :)

First of all, let me say that they bottled oat milk chai tea is very good. It's definitely heavy on the cinnamon, but if you enjoy that it's great. Otherwise, it's a nice place, the atmosphere is great, and the staff was friendly.Lastly, be careful if you ask for bubble tea, I attempted to try an original bubble tea and basically received normal tea with boba in it

I’ve been here twice and I love it! So much to see, so many teas to try! The Boba here is some of the best I’ve had and I’ve had boba in Fl, TN, Ky, and now Ohio. The flavor is just something else. The lady at the counter is so sweet for dealing with my questions and she seems very knowledgeable about tea, cultures, and the area.(I also really loved their bathroom. I felt very comfortable there and loved the tea pot steamy dude)

Essencha Tea House in Oakley is a hidden gem. The quality of the tea is excellent. They seem to have great source for it.The staff are very friendly and welcoming, especially Kate and Antonia. You cannot go wrong with the Boba Teas of the Walnut Tea hot. The Matcha teas are wonderful and you have many options. Even with the current Covid 19 situation you can sit inside or out safely and treat yourself and your friends. Plenty of parking in the back, so don't let the construction nearby on Madison scare you off.

I love coming here!! It's quiet and peaceful, the staff is always super nice and knowledgeable, and the food is delicious. I HIGHLY recommend getting a cupcake. They're ALWAYS worth it! :)

Bought a couple of cup cakes today for my wife for valentines today. Love them last year but what I bought today were terrible. Essentially taste like dry uncooked flour. Not sure why as we love them in the past. Quality control has gone downhill.

I guess everyone has different experiences, but I'm not really understanding all the negative reviews. Yes, they are a little pricier, but they're also not a chain. They only have 2 people working at any given time, every time I have been there. I've been here over five times over the course of 2 years, and although it's changed some over that span, I wouldn't say it's for the worse at all. Is it the best boba place I've been to? Of course not--but I don't think it's trying to be. They can make ANY tea they have the base flavor for your bubble tea. I think that's great. PLUS: they do afternoon tea (with fingerling sandwiches and such), personal teapots, some lunch options, and a small assortment of sweets like cupcakes, mochi, and scones. The people who work there have always been nice to me. It's exactly my kind of place, and they know their teas well enough that if I have a question about one, they can usually answer it. I would knock off a star for price, but really, why would I do that? I'm not a j**** It's not a chain. It's a hole in the wall teahouse that's trying to compete with other coffee and tea places in Cincinnati. Then again, I'm just not a fussy person. It's laidback, and that's really I how prefer service. I would recommend this place to anyone who feels similarly.

Had a girls day out here, and it was a wonderful, relaxing place to sit, talk, drink tea and enjoy some cupcakes and scones. It seems decently priced and the staff was very nice.
