Wonderful place!!The atmosphere is fun and inviting!!We got there for happy hour and saved a bunch on our drinks!!We got the trout dip for appetizer!! Omg yum!! We devoured it lol! The flavor was just perfect!!I got the fish and chips for dinner-- the fish was flakey and fat. There was definitely enough meat to taste the fish!! The breading was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. I didn't fall off! The truffle fries were very good, but I couldn't eat many of them.My husband got to cheeseburger with truffle fries. It was a good portion, fresh burger... not a frozen patty.Everything was from scratch. For dessert, we got the basque cheesecake (my first one!) And the turtle brownie. The cheesecake was very fun and different! It tasted like if a cheesecake and an egg custard had a baby lol. We ate it with caramel on the side. It was so good and we definitely recommend you try it!!The brownie.... was dry and crumbly. It wasn't good.Overall, we loved this place!! We hope to return!

We popped in here about 20 minutes before dinner service. Our waitress came to our table, asked for our orders and we let her know we had looked at the dinner menu and we all wanted to wait and order off that menu. She was super put out and retorted, "no, it's not dinner time and even after it is it will be another 20 min or so until those dishes are on offer". Ok, we said we would order drinks and enjoy the afternoon until it was dinner. Instead of taking our drink order she huffed and walked off. I thought maybe she was kidding, it was that weird. KEEP in mind there were only 3 other people dining in the restaurant at this time. SO, we all figured out what we wanted off the lunch menu. Hilariously they were out of what 3 of us wanted so we had to go with option B. surprisingly, all the food was actually pretty great. That being said, the waitress never warmed. It was awkward the whole time and she was super slovenly, not even getting us refills or asking if we wanted anything else. Based on the service I 100% would never go back. Based on the food , maybe ordering for a take away could make sense. We spent a bit over 100 dollars on lunch items so my expectation was to enjoy myself. I did not. If you walk in an there is a medium build 20 somethings blonde with the personality of a 70 year old spinster who has run out of Virginia Slim Cigarettes, run away, you won't enjoy yourself and will regret your time spent.

Expensive and not worth the money. Went with a group of 6+ and our service was very bad. Everyone got their food at different times and it was cold when it finally came

Food and service are top notch here. Jamie the chef puts loving care into all the dishes here and the bartenders are amazing.

At touch of elegance in the middle of Ludlow. I recommend the salmon linguine on the rooftop on a spring afternoon. Cocktail menu is exceptional ? ? ?

I ordered a turkey roasted sandwich and a salad, but the salad didn't seem fresh at all. Was really bad. I am not planing to go there again.

Located across from the Ludlow Garage. Great service. Interesting menu. The Brussel sprout plate to share was delicious. Large drink menu. The burger was overcooked and too salty but still juicy. Fries were very crispy if you like that. Great atmosphere.

We were turned out at Ludlow Garage across the street due to no reservation. Glad they did because we just walked across the street to Gaslight and had a wonderful dining experience. Great wine choices. Schnitzel was great. My wife had salmon linguine and loved it. Brussels sprouts appetizer was wonderful. Service was great. Very safe area. Quite busy as well due to Christopher Cross concert we went to. Just a good time all around. You might want to make reservations however on a concert night. Only reason we got a table was that they had a couple of cancellations.

The more I think about this, the more appalled I get. Bad service all around but I will give a taste. Food arrives, runner escapes before I can ask for things. Like salt and pepper since none are on the table. Like bread and lemon since I ordered a seafood pasta and either or heaven forbid both would be lovely. Server no showed through the whole meal. And the manager actually had the gall to tell me to come again, without so much as offering to take an item off my check, with assurances that next time will be better. Told me how great the service was on the ground floor... only it was empty by then, and god forbid that some of those great servers would have come up to the roof to help the overwhelmed whelp that ignored me through my main course? I beg you, good reader, find someplace else. I know I will, I feel like I threw some money away. And it's a shame, the trout dip was great.

The waitress upstairs was super nice and cute, the food was not very good though, I had the house burger and the meat was un seasoned no taste, however, the fries was awesome, also we had the shrimp avocado salad, I didn’t like it very much. It might be a personal opinion but that was my experience.

This was our second time dining here and we were excited to sit rooftop! We arrived at 7pm, ahead of the rush, and were headed to an 8:30 show across the street. We ordered drinks, waited….waited to order dinner, waited, waited…Our server never checked in with us, our drinks were dry. I finally asked where our food was at 8:05pm. I got a ridiculous response about how swamped and crowded it was, yet we were one of the first to arrive and the couple that came in behind us had finished their meal. I complained it had been over 45 min. and we were hungry. I asked if there was bread. I was told there was, but “it isn’t free”.The food was delicious, but we didn’t have time to enjoy it in the 10 minutes we had before the show. Also, the restaurant was still almost empty as we left, and you, Server Sir, told a whopper of a lie. “Gaslight” is the name of the restaurant, not an reaction to the customer when you do not do your job.
