Service was great. Taj Mahal beer was good. The food seemed like it was lacking a bit of salt / flavor, but was a pretty solid experience.

I tried Momos, chow mein and fried rice. Momos are good when you eat it served hot. The taste goes down once it cools down. Chow mein is good. Fried rice is greasy. Ambience is not that great.

Worst Indian food I've ever eaten. And I've eaten a lot. I love Indian food. But this was SO BAD that we couldn't finish it. It was unseasoned and the temperature was luke warm.

Let's get the negative out of the way first. If you're sensitive to capsaicin - Hamro cooks with a lot of it, and there isn't much in the way of ventilation. I'm ashamed to say that it seems I can't "hang" - my wife and buddy were unaffected, but I had to run outside hacking and coughing 20 minutes into our lunch. -1 star.OK, so obviously my math seems off, but listen. The Nepalese food at Hamro is easily 6/5 stars. Yes, I know that seems reductive and cliched, but even with inflamed lungs, I just couldn't bear to give this place anything less than 5/5. The saag paneer is creamier, silkier, and richer than a typical punjabi Indian restaurant's - different and just as delicious. The chicken tikka is tender, saucy, and thick. But the real showstopper were the momos. The chili fried momo ghar dumplings at Hamro are the best I've had anywhere. They convert Hamro from an obscure local food joint to a Cincinnati culinary destination. If you like dumplings, and you like spicy, do it. Drive your lazy bum up I-75. Your bum (and lungs) may regret it later, but you won't.

The best food I've had so far. The food and curries really have Nepali taste to it and are away from the Indian food taste. Decent prices and great staff!

We were traveling with a vegetarian friend in Cincinnati. I lived in Cincinnati for many years and could only think of one Indian restaurant. So, we searched yelp, and I found this restaurant. It's a tiny place and rather a rundown shopping area but the food is fantastic and the service was excellent. I had Nepalese dumplings, which I've never had before which tasted great, especially with the sauce provided. The naan bread's were offered in a wide variety of types. All excellent I would definitely make this a place to come back to next time in the in Cincinci

Best Indian Food I've had in Cincinnati. It's an unassuming little place that used to be the Forest Park Restaurant- a 70's time capsule diner. Much of the decor was kept and I love it, it has personality. The momos are superb. I got the pork chili momos at a level 5 spice. That was perfect, spicy and still flavorful. I've had Bridges and I've had Ajeet India and neither can hold a candle to these. My husband got a dish that had pork belly in a bed of diced deliciousness. I'm not sure what it was called because it was a recommendation from the server. I've never had such tender pork belly and the onions, cilantro, garlic, and maybe peanuts (not overly peanut flavored, so I'm not sure) were expertly flavored. We just happened upon this place and we'll be making a point to go back.

Flavors are on point! Enjoyed the chicken and pork momo we ordered as well as the aloo paratha and garlic naan. The Nepali tea was a tasty treat that I plan to get every time I'm in the area. Decor is a bit dated but the service was good. Worth trying if you're in north Cincy.
