A friend of mine and I drove to Ohio from Illinois to go to Kings island. While in line for a ride there westarted talking to a guy iand he brought up the fact that while we're in town we need to try Holtmans Donuts, so we stopped in the next morning. I was blown away by the selections. we tried the Fruity Pebbles and the Maple Bacon donut and were blown away. the dough is the best ive ever had anywhere and everything else was just amazing. you have to try this place.

GROSS. Hard pass on this place. I had high hopes with all the positive reviews. 1- I ordered an Apple fritter and a cream filled donut, my 2 favorites everywhere else in the world 2- they are WAY overpriced for donuts. 3- the Apple fritter was RAW in the middle 4- the cream filled was just okay. Nothing special, and not even close to my top 25 donut experiences. Pass. Go visit the French Patisserie a few blocks away instead. It is called Mon Petit Choux and it is SUPER YUMMY & very special.

Best Doughnuts in Cincinnati, sticky hands down! Time and again the best doughnuts in town and there’s some fine competition! The chocolate and maple cream sticks (long johns) are the best.

We were walking past Holtman's and the storefront looked neat, so we stopped in. Upon entering, I noticed that the shop was not very big but the space is utilized well. They had some seating if you wanted to stay and eat your doughnuts, but it looks to me that this spot is primarily a grab and go shop, which is cool with me. We ordered a half dozen of doughnuts in different varieties. The staff were kind and helpful and answered any questions we had. The doughnuts were delicious and fresh. The doughnut with chocolate icing and sprinkles was my favorite. I would definitely stop back at Holtman's the next time I'm in Cincy!

We visited this bakery 3 weeks ago from out of town. The 2 ladies working that Sunday were fabulous. Great atmosphere. The Pershing doughnut and the maple bacon blueberry cake doughnut were amazing.

I'm not a donut lover because of its massive sweetness, however this cute local donut shop was cool to visit for an out towner. Their peanut butter Buckeye donut was so good to go with a dark coffee.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Heard so much about Holtman's Donuts and it was a huge let down. Really cute place on Vine Street in OTR, but the donuts tasted like they were a day old. An even bigger let down when I read the employees were nice and sweet because while waiting in line to get my donuts, 2 of the employees were yelling where you could see them behind the glass dropping explitives while customers and children were waiting. One of them then brought it out to the front counter and kept ranting. Very rude! Maybe I'll try one of the other locations and get better customer service next time.
Apparently they combined the 2 best donuts into 1. Blueberry and Maple Bacon.

I visited there this morning. Absolutely the best donut I've had in Cincinnati. Probably the best I've ever had. I'm glad I found it. Great donuts, with great service. Can't wait on my next visit. Sorry I didn't take pictures but the wife and nephew both loved the place as well. Don't change a thing.
