As soon as my husband got in the car he said Gosh this smells like rotten eggs. What did you order? I took the bag and smelled and said omg you’re right! I said it’s probably just hard boiled egg smell, they can smell like that sometimes. Plus, we didn’t want to go back in, the lady at counter had no time for us so it seemed. We took the egg off and tried to get rid of most of it. However, oddly enough I got violently ill that night, my husband did the next morning. This restaurant has been around long time, I’ve been coming here since I was in high school (90’s) and also frequent the sister/brother location in Harrison. But please be cautious of the eggs you use. I realize egg prices have gone high and we all are trying to conserve what we can. Everything else, the beef was excellent and so was the coney!

The food is basic diner fare, simple – as it should be – and well executed. The service I've received has consistently been good. If uncomplicated but savory food and pleasant service is what you're looking for, this place shouldn't disappoint.

The food is ALWAYS fresh, hot, and made to order. The servers do an outstanding job of getting it to you the moment it comes up and is ready. Everyone is friendly and if something isn't right (which is extremely rare) they will make it right fast. This is my favorite casual restaurant on the west side! Get the cheese fries, you won't regret it ??? (bigger and better than anywhere else)!
