If the customer service wasn’t so good. SMH that was the only thing that was good. My food was cold and nooooo seasoning. The food looked like cat food. I’m a huge fan of J.Gumbo. But this was HORRIBLE. The Cornbread OMG. How do you mess up Cornbread.. it was DRY AND TASTE OLD AND NASTY. The peach cobbler was ok. Definitely store bought. I’m very disappointed..

Super freindly and helpful staff, very clean restaurant and the gumbo is excellent! There are SOO many choices and each one is better than the previous. Tried the VooDoo chicken (hot, but great flavor) and one other before settling on the drunken chicken. Delicious meal for a very reasonable price. Stop in!

My bf and I absolutely LOVE this spot. We aren't from Cinci , but we were here for my job and ended up trying here before heading back home. The food is so well seasoned. The queso is my bfs FAVORITE , especially with the red hot Buffalo added. When I got another job back in Cinci I ordered 7 quesos to take back to Indy. Literally highlight of my bfs day when I go and make a pit stop here!

Love this place! A coworker and I go here a couple times a month for lunch. The menu spans a wide variety of tastes and heat. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff are always friendly. If you get a chance, try the bread pudding with the rum sauce....it won't disappoint.Vegetarian options: Bumblebee stew is an excellent vegetarian option.
