I was charged extra for a specific order. However, the order wasn't put together correctly after giving specifics to the cashier/one who boxed my food. To add I was the only customer at the time. Overall, a decent place to get chicken.

I ordered chicken tenders fries and a side of mashed potatoes and the total was around $14 when I got to my car and checked it I only had chicken tenders and mashed potatoes so I went back inside and asked the guy if I was supposed to get fries and he said no you only got the three tender combo and the mashed potatoes.Once I left I looked at my credit card because the guy didn't give me a receipt and I was billed $14 but their menu price is just under $7 for the order so the guy charged me for something twice maybe but either way he didn't listen to what I ordered.

Jay's nice ?? walking and get your order then go on back and get in your car go home and throw down because there's no eat in you have to take out.
Stooped here basically on accident a couple weeks ago. Been thinking about it ever since.

The fresh smell of chicken greets you at the door. It smells so amazing! Cashier was very nice. Fresh batch of fried chicken was pulled as we ordered! They have jambalaya! Chicken was excellent. ? Packed with flavor. Definitely a place you should stop by, if your near the area.

Who knew that all it took to enjoy great fried chicken in Cincinnati was to visit a corner Marathon gas station in Pleasant Ridge? Well, apparently, EVERYONE but me. The owner is quite friendly and his menu offers an enticing selection of chicken preparations (fried, tenders, sandwiches) and a varied list of side items, including jambalaya, red beans and rice, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, and those addictive honey biscuits.Jay's is a Krispy Krunchy Chicken franchise. The franchise started in Louisiana back in the late 80s, in the heart of Cajun country. They've now got more than 2000 locations nationwide.I'd like to think Jay's location is the very best. Because it is.

After reading the reviews I decided to stop in and try the chicken and I would say it's average, the breast was over cooked. They didn't put a biscuit in with the meal as it's stated. It is a bit more expensive than I thought it would be.The mashed potatoes and gravy are not homemade either but good flavored

Best chicken in Cincy! Only negative is their limited hours (not usually open for dinner time)
Don't know what people see about this place, the chicken is very greasy and over priced.
