I wouldn't know where to start. We drove a long way because there is no Cuban restaurant where we live and we were very excited, but we immediately realized that the trip had not been worth it. The place did not smell good, it was very hot in the establishment and nobody was attending at the reception. The cook saw us and yelled from the kitchen that we checked the menu while someone was coming to serve us. Since no one told us where to sit and since everything seemed so strange, we waited in the corridor where at least the cook could see us. A while passed and no one came to serve us. After a while, a man came out and began to fill some bags with chips, but he just looked at us and didn't say a word, so I asked him when he was going to serve us? The man replied that they had a catering for 300 people and that they could not serve us, I was speechless, we understand that they possibly had a lack of staff but it is unacceptable that the clients who enter feel as disrespected as we do.I wouldn't know where to start. I can't think of 85 characters so I'm typing fluff to express that this is the most slept on spot in cinci. 5 stars every single time. Good is phenomenal and the coffee is even better.

Let's manage our expectations here. I fell for some positive reviews and misleading pictures on here and what I ended up with was a "greasy spoon" version of Cuban food. So on one hand, I didn't know that was a thing- so maybe I can spin that as a new experience. But realistically, it was just subpar food from a genre that prides itself on fresh food and flavor. The food wasn't bad, it was just missing flare. Tostones and croquettes- but no dipping sauce. Yucca fries doused in seasoned salt but not even so much as ketchup made available to us. There was only 1 guy working in the whole place. He played the part of the hostess, waiter, cook, and cashier. My wife asked for a water and he responded that all they had was tap water since they were out of bottled water. I ordered a Cuban soda and was handed a can (no ice, no glass). I wouldn't go back here, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone hoping for a Cuban restaurant experience.

Visited recently 04/2023 - read a lot of the mix reviews but some are true and hopefully the food improves over time. We had a Cuban but seems like it made on a French loaf and not with Cuban bread; also the sandwich was a little bare like the commercial from the 80's where's the meat. Also thought there would be a Cuban Palomilla steak lunch or dinner usual serve with black beans, white rice and sweet fried plantains- typical Cuban dish. Also would like to see a caramel flan or some rice pudding. We did have the sweet plantains over fried and slightly burnt, kind of disappointing. They also don't offer a Cuban medianoche maybe because they can't get the sweet bread like to Cuban bread for the Cuban sandwich. Was hoping this place would be like Cuban Pete's but better and hopefully if I visit again this Cuban restaurant will still be here and not go out of business like Cuban Pete's....

Really loved the food but they were definitely understaffed with the chef doing pretty much everything. It was obvious he poured his heart into his food but he He did everything at the time of ordering. It seemed like he could have done some of the steps beforehand to speed up service.

First of all, it's hella expensive! $17 for a café con leche and an order of croquetas is wild. The cafe con leche was decent and pretty big. The croquetas on the other hand? Nah, don't bother those are NOT croquetas. Idk how they're making them but the filling is made with more that just the flour roux mixture. It looks like they use egg in the filling which is not how it's made. It lacked that soft texture and was almost cakey.Just buy the frozen Goya ones and fry them yourself at home and they'll be infinitely better.

Had read about this place so I decided to try it. Patiently waited for fresh made food and for the most part it was very good. I will come back for sure but on my next order I will specifically ask for low salt because all the entrees were heavily salted and in my opinion way over salted too thoroughly enjoy them especially the ham croquettes. The freshness and the quality of the meat in the picadillo

My family loves Cuban sandwiches, order them often from various restaurants. Decided to try the Latin House this past weekend, BIG mistake! All five of us thought the Cuban sandwich was the worst we have ever had, very little meat and the bread was stale. We also tried the chicken sandwich, it was hard to find the chicken on it, which was extremely thin and over cooked. There are no prices on the menu, we paid just under $60 for 4 awful sandwiches, so disappointing!

Very disappointing. You would think that their Cuban sandwiches would be the highlight on their menu, sadly far from it. Over priced, very little meat, basically paying for grilled bread.

Being Cuban and from Miami Fl a group of us were excited to hear of this restaurant and decided to go. What a let down, service was extremely slow and the taste of the food was more bland. It lack the authentic Cuban flavor. Wasn’t horrible but we won’t be going back.

Ramon was amazing. Stopped by for lunch and got the croquettes. They tasted better than the ones I got from Miami, which is saying something. Ramon also told me about his private chef service. I cannot wait for a special occasion to give this a try. I'll be back!

Lunch was good! However, I was charged 6 bucks for a cafe con leche. The price on the menu online states it is 4. Not sure if the prices weren't updated online.
