The food is good. Just simple American fare. It's in the back of the Madison Bowling alley. But the service is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and just great to be around. It's a throwback to the good old days when you knew who was taking care of you. This place is a must stop if you are in the area!

Service is excellent, but the breakfast was just so so. My toast was burnt and the pancakes had no flavor. Neither the toast or pancakes had butter, nor was butter supplied. I'm going back to give dinner a chance, fingers crossed it's good. They have a great burger special during the week, Tuesday I think.

Nice to have a small town feel restaurant in a big city. Fish sandwich is great- he makes his own tartar sauce. Finally had the big burger! It's amazing. Recommend getting it with bacon, egg, cheddar, jalapeno, sauteed onions, lettuce and tomato. Have been there four times and all four times the food has been worth coming back for and the staff is always friendly and professional.

Inside Madison Bowl is the best diner this side of Mel's Diner (yes that's an Alice reference) and your taste buds will be disappointed if you pass this place up.
