Been wanting to try this place for years, so finally decided to go.6 of us, and not a great experience.3 of us had to send our steaks back for them actually being cold. They came back out now overcooked but we still ate them. Never saw a manager and no one came to our table to ask how things were.Waitress was a sweet girl but not very good.We had to ask for refills, never ask us or stop by. Was not very busy but felt like we were not important.First time and perhaps our last time. Sad because I really thought this place was going yo be good.

Been here a few times but it's always been great. Everyone is so friendly and the food, presentation and service is always great. Going there is just like a step back to old times. Always makes you want to order a Manhattan or a dirty martini.

First time visiting this charming restaurant tucked away on the west side. Someone recommended I try to prime rib or ribeye, it was super hard to choose. I ordered the prime rib and wow, it’s delicious! My buddy went with a ribeye and that was also so good. Highly recommend the either, I love how the prime rib was prepared, not overly seasoned and rare rare rare ?!! Thank you Aubree for taking care of us. Had a blast w the atmosphere, drinks and wonderful food. Look forward coming back.

This place is really great. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the food. The waitress was super friendly as well. I will say that you do need a reservation to get in but otherwise very good. I will be coming back.

I appreciate the nostalgia of a restaurant that opened in 1949. Great old school steakhouse atmosphere. Busy on a Wednesday night. Good service but my $30 new york strip had way too much gristle and was unevenly cooked...medium well on one end and medium rare on the other. The locals love it and I understand, but we drove an hour to get there and wouldn't go back.

This is my second time coming to Maurys, the first was in August and once me and my spouse sat down, we had noticed a swarm of gnats under a spot light, the gnats had taken over our drinks, and our appetizer, we let our waitress know and she apologized, but we asked for our check and went elsewhere. We were pretty disgusted. After hearing a lot of people who loved this little cove, we decided to give it another shot. We get there about 7:45, and immediately got seated, to which we waited about 15 minutes for our waiter to come to us, but they had larger parties so we weren’t that upset. Once we ordered it took about an hour and 15 minutes for our food. We ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and gravy, and the Parmesan crusted chicken with angel hair pasta. The ribeye was supposed to be medium rare, it came medium well, the mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like the frozen Hungry Man’s mashed potatoes and gravy, the chicken was dry as all get out and the pasta had absolutely no flavor to it at all. The best thing they offered were the rolls, and of course after you receive 1 small basket each, you have to pay for them. The staff was nice, the service was fine. But the food was not worth the wait or the prices. We will not be returning.

Our family visited this historic steakhouse for the first time a few weeks ago and had a fabulous dinner! Service was absolute top-notch! The atmosphere was outstanding as well! I won't compare the food to the elite steakhouses, but they definitely could hold there own. The French onion soup is a must try for sure! I highly recommend this neighborhood gem at least once, we'll be back!

Maury's did not disappoint. David was an awesome server and very attentive to us. Pickles and rolls, as always were eaten quickly. David brought more pickles, which made us happy. Bang Bang Chicken appetizer was very tasty. Perfect steaks and tried the garlic mushrooms for the first time, delicious. Service was quick and we didn't wait for anything. Comfortable and enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back. Thank you Maury's for a perfect dinner.
