Great little Indian restaurant in a tiny shopping strip, so unexpected . I've been here a few times and food is consistently delicious with a very attentive staff. We got chicken Tikka Masala ( chicken here is shredded instead of whole chunks ) Aloo Gobi, Dal Makini and Saag Paneer with Kasmiri Naan and garlic Naan. The decor needs updating ( wall paper is clearly from bygone days and not congruent with an Indian restaurant ) but it's ok. I meet my neices there so it's all about the yummy food and good conversation. If you like Indian food than here's your new spot!

New Krishna's tasty dishes were overshadowed by an imposed $37 tip (18% of the bill) without consent. Despite addressing the issue, the owner cited policy and refused adjustments. Factor in high food prices, and recommending this restaurant becomes a challenge.

The ambiance was cool and classy. The front staff were really cool and excellent . Prem and team helped us in choosing the dishes which are worth trying . The taste of dosas were excellent and I guarantee that this taste won’t be available in Austin. ?

This is an example of a restaurant that probably lost tons of business during the COVID lockdown and is attempting to make it up by over pricing their food. It won't work. The chai was ice cold, even with scalded milk on the top. The restaurant was nearly empty.

2023 UPDATE:REDUCED FROM 5 STAR TO 3 STAR.This used to be my favorite indian place pre-pandemic for 5 yeats with CONSISTENT service, great food, great price...However, post-pandemic they have changed their strategy to just ripping people off with prices you'd typically find in a top class restaurant but tastes from a third class place - very low quality poor tasting food that's EXTREMELY over priced. Its really a complete rip-off now because you can order a chicken "biriyani" and just get rice mixed with curry, but they will charge $17.99 for the poor fare! (in their condescending response below, they try to explain this is because I did not know its "Punjabi Biriyani"... anyone who knows Indian food knows you dont go to a restaurant to eat Biriyani and be served rice mixed with curry - if they did, they would just order the rice and the curry and mix it themselves instead of getting charged $5 extra for mixing the 2)?Even a simple dal makhani costs $15 for a single serving size. They obviously let go of their usual cooks and have temporary ones now?I cannot recommend anyone go here anymore unless you want below par, barely edible overpriced food (other reviews who still say it tastes good, do not know how to judge Indian food). I would not trust a place that can go this bad even for one day but its not just me either.

The large kid acts like an entitled child that has not worked a day in his life. The Chicken Tikka Masala used to be good. Now it's just Chicken with Campbell's tomato soup poured over it. Used to be a good restaurant now no good.
