Great food , friendly staff. Wish they had fresh brewed iced tea though. The brisket is full of flavor and the chicken is also mouth watering . The patio is nice to sit outside on.

If you are in the mood for BBQ of any kind, do not pass Pig Candy BBQ by. In fact, you should go out of your way to go to Pig Candy BBQ. (we went to the Kellogg Ave location) It was EXCELLENT. We had the Potato Bomb which is a huge baked potato with your choice of meat on it. I had the brisket on it. The brisket was so tender and so tasty. The sides of chili, cheddar grits and cole slaw were just as good. My wife had the BBQ meat quesadilla and of course EXCELLENT. Dominick took our order and was so pleasant and patient. He gave us all the info we needed about each dish as we took our time looking at the huge menu on the wall. Then when we were eating, he came by not once, not twice but 3 times to see how we were doing. When Patrick brought our food out, it was with a smile. Seating was comfortable with padded chairs inside (some). They have an outside porch area but a bit to chilly and rainy to go out there. BTW...my friend who needs to eat gluten-free was ecstatic about this new place he could go to.

We were looking for some protein before our hike in the nature preserve. SO happy we happened upon Pig Candy BBQ ? We had the brisket sandwich and pulled pork waffle. Absolutely delicious, we ended up ordering another sandwich to go. The employees were also so sweet, what a joy to eat here!

Cute place, very good BBQ. Sauces are good and clearly made onsite. Had the sampler platter with brisket and pulled pork. Both very good, but if I had to pick at one thing the brisket could had a stronger smoke flavor. Still it was lean and tender. Corn pudding was excellent. We'll be back.

We got the $12 hamburger with pulled pork on top with no sides and no extra sauce and the hamburger was extremely thin almost white castle-ish not very impressed for $12 burger. The mac & cheese was good but the hamburger wasn’t very good at all the pork was good just not enough beef, I highly recommend not getting that not worth your $12

Solid BBQ within crew car distance of LUK. I went with the brisket sandwich. Nice smoke ring and loads of flavor. Think meat jelly tender. Cool vibe and great service yum!

Incredible BBQ. I had the brisket sandwich recommended to me and ordered a side of coleslaw as well. The brisket was insanely good. Fall apart tender, a little crisp from the bark, and the bun was slightly toasted. The BBQ sauce was tasty as well. The coleslaw was decent. I like mine a little sloppier, but I thought it was tasty. Besides the food, the service was incredible. The cashiers were extremely kind and helpful with any questions and even checked to see how the food was. I think my food came out in about 5 minutes, so it was lightning quick. I sat out on the heated patio which was great on a slightly cool day. I absolutely recommend this place for your BBQ needs. I will be back to try more.Parking: Parking lot is in the back, not a ton of spots, but I think the side street it's on has free parking available, so it didn't seem too difficult to find parking. I went at a less busy time so I can't speak for peak hours.

The best BBQ spot in the city! I usually get the sampler plate to enjoy a little bit of everything, but have also tried their signature waffles and the food is to die for. The staff is also incredibly inviting and kind. They have a very cozy dining area or a covered and heated outdoor patio! The patio area dog friendly as an added bonus, and a member of the staff always stops by to give my pup a treat. Pig Candy has become a go to spot when I want to grab a bite with the whole family!
Love this place! Had the pulled pork sandwich and cheesy grits which were amazing. Highly recommend.

Best BBQ in miles, highly recommend for your lunch needs! The food is delicious with lots to choose from. There’s always a special of the day that never disappoints, and the serving is always fast. Inside is very nice and comfortable and the outside heated porch is great in winter or summer and dog friendly ?.
