Great bc its mostly vegan. (they put honey in somethings) cant go wrong with the smoothies or smoothie bowls. Everything has been good but they are not always consistent as far as flavor and portions. Will definitely go back again and again.

Food is good. Everything taste clean. I'm vegetarian and the the options they have here is elite. You may look at the prices and see that it might be a tad expensive but when you compare the quantity of the food you're getting and the quality of it compared to other places, you will see why I give this place a 5 star. Yummy for the tummy! Also, a great place to do work in. The only thing is sometimes it can be packed and the tables might need cleaning. But good welcoming staff who will help any first timers.

Went here today for the first time. I'm not vegan or vegetarian so maybe that's why the food tasted like dirt. The Mac n cheese tasted like nuts and the pesto sandwich was eaten in 3 bites (not by choice.) I would not recommend going here. Maybe 30+ and older would though. Only pro was the employees were super nice and complimented me.

I use to come here a lot in 2021-2022 I decided to make a return and it does not taste the same at all from what I remembered. The food use to be so flavorful and fulfilling but I couldn’t help but notice the blandness it now has. I also noticed what I ordered wasn’t made with everything that was supposed to come on it which was disappointing. Also the wait could be improved for something simple as a smoothie. I like the aesthetic of the place though!

I love Rooted and I come often. I got an açaí smoothie bowl which I've always loved. Today, whoever was making my bowl only put 1/4 of a banana which was also severely bruised and brown. Had to just take it completely out of my bowl leaving me with minimal toppings. For $13 a bowl I expect better quality control. I'm disappointed :(

This is consistently one of the slowest places I have ever been to. Multiple times I've just sat there waiting 30-45 minutes for a simple smoothie. The food is fine but unless you have all afternoon to waste, take your energy somewhere that values your time a little more.

First impressions when walking in: cool, relaxed vibe. Nice and clean. On closer inspection, the table was wobbly and the inside could use a fresh coat of paint. BUT...the food was great. My wife had the pad thai, which was delicious. I had the burrito which was a tiny bit too sweet but the veggies were fresh and crisp. The walnut "meat" had good flavor and I enjoyed it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. We will totally be coming back again

My daughter is gluten egg and dairy free so when I found this place I wanted to try it out with her. We tried the Mac and cheese and was very disappointed because it was sooooo dry. No creamy cheese style and it was served cold. Now the Thai noodles were amazing. They had the option of zucchini instead of noodles and that is the way to go. It was very flavorful and tasty. Also tried the key lime pie. That was good too.

I really liked the ambience but was unpleasantly surprised with the quality of food. I was super excited for the burrito; however, the rice in the burrito was not cooked and crunchy. I'm hoping this was just an incident, given that we need more vegan / vegetarian options in Cincinnati area. Three stars for the smoothie and latte that we had!

I've been avoiding Rooted for about a year due to past issues I've had. I decided to go again to get pumpkin chili since it's a seasonal item they have for a very limited time. I also wanted to get a cookie dough truffle which is my favorite dessert from Rooted. I was told by the cashier that the cookie dough truffles now have gluten for some reason. They were gluten free for years so that is extremely disappointing. I don't understand eliminating gluten free options when this restaurant is supposed to be friendly for dietary restrictions. When I got home to eat my chili, I opened the container and there was a thick layer of oil sitting on top. This is supposed to be a healthy restaurant but the amount of oil was so much that I had to try to drain it. The chili normally comes with vegan sour cream and pepitas but mine came with nothing. All in all this was another disappointing experience at Rooted and I will go back to avoiding them again. They've been open for a long time and should have worked out a lot of the issues. I know they have a lot of employee turnover but that's not an excuse, that just indicates an issue with upper management and company policy that needs to be addressed.

Stopped in today for a drink and snack. Asked what something was the in the display case. Employee said she didn't know. Asked for 2 matcha lemonade on tap. Employee said we would have to get them from the refrigerator in the lobby. She rang them up $16 for two $4 drinks (on the menu). I asked how it was $16 and she said they don't so the on tap option that's listed on the menu. Based on the other review responses, I'm sure this will be blamed on covid and supply chain issues.
