Waitress was super nice and helpful when making recommendations. We got the K-pop and the trailer park hots dogs which were both delicious! The poutine was just as good as I remembered 6 years ago. We didn’t get the mussels but they looked really good, we will try next time! Great beer selection too!

Allergen: Note for people with allergies that their hot dog buns contain eggs - unlike most hot dog buns I've encountered. Because of this discovery (which I'm very happy the waitress told me when I said I had an allergy), we ordered to-go and I replaced the bun at home. Also will note for those with allergies that you may want to confirm all ingredients with staff; my bf got the kimchi hot dog and we planned to share until there was a mystery sauce on it that he thought could be egg-based. We couldn't find the sauce listed on the menu for that item to id it. Taste of the food was excellent, but we do feel as though the portions were much smaller because they were to-go, and that made the price seem severe for our servings. Worth trying, and service was excellent. Just make sure to dine in.

Arrived shortly after 1 on a week day and sat immediately. Was greeted and checked on at an attentive yet respectful rate. The food was delicious (as always!) Definitely get the fries.Kid-friendliness: Changing table , high chairs, kids menu items

I paid $21 for this garbage? Can someone point to the "crispy bacon"? Where is the "truffle"? This is a $3 little league snack at best. Should you be able to charge the same price for dine-in quality vs takeout trash?

This is a great place to dine. My mom and I were in town and based on reviews thought we would try it. This is one of the best!!! We both had the Chicago hot dog and some fries (cooked in duck oil)and the taste of both is to die for Very flavorful. To top it off had the bread pudding in bourbon sauce. That was spectacular. The service was great and it is fairly priced. We will definitely be back next time we are in Cincinnati.

My husband & I went back to Senate for the first time in a while & I realized I have never left a review for this unique hot dog restaurant, though to call what they serve just "hot dogs" makes them seem underwhelming, when they are anything but. It's conveniently located inside of Summit Park & therefore there is plenty of parking available - depending on how many people are at the park. The restaurant exudes a warm and inviting ambiance while maintaining a moderately elegant atmosphere. We sat at the bar & our bartender was very courteous. To drink I had the Friesling, or frozen Riesling, priced at $11. It was nice & refreshing, not overly sweet with a touch of dryness. My husband & I decided to get two dogs that sounded good to both of us & split them in half so we could have the best of both worlds (it's so hard to choose one). I ordered the Spuds Mackenzie (beef hotdog, bacon, duck fat fries, cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, sour cream & chives - $13). Is $13 a lot for a hot dog? Yes. Is it a lot for THESE hot dogs? I would say no. The fries are served on top of the dog with the rest of the toppings to give you the perfect bite every time. The duck fat in the fries gives them an added richness. The bacon provides a harder crunch than the pickled jalapeño & adds some smokiness, while the pickled jalapeños provide a zesty kick. Add in the creamy cheese sauce & sour scream with the sharp chives & a plump, juicy dog & you've got heaven on a bun. My husband ordered the Guaca-Saurus Rex (all beef hotdog, crispy bacon, tons of guacamole, chipotle crema & queso fresco - $12). The guacamole was vibrant, tangy, & plentiful. The sauces added yet another layer of creaminess & the bacon & chips on top give you a fun crunch. Both of our dogs were excellent. We also shared a side of lobster Mac & cheese ($14). I will say it isn't the largest portion for the price, but it was silky & satisfying. We managed to somehow save room for dessert, & I'm so glad we did! We enjoyed the Chocolate & Bourbon bread pudding ($8.50). If I could choose one word - indulgent. Not overly so, though. It had the perfect amount of sweet & bitter & even salty. Every bite was bliss. I don't think I'll ever be able to leave here without dessert now!

Had a lovely meal here. I enjoyed the beet salad and the oysters. Server was friendly. Cool decor. Easy to park. Lots of outdoor seating.

Love the location. I had high hopes for this restaurant but was underwhelmed, possibly because I was looking for healthy food options. There are not many, to be honest. I ended up with "my wife's salad" and was disappointed. It was very red onion forward and the balsamic vinaigrette wasn't sweet enough to overcome the onion on the peppery arugula. Did not enjoy it at all sadly. My husband loved his truffle fries but described his burger as good beef patties on a soggy bun. We were underwhelmed and expected more based on reviews. Maybe if we'd gotten the hot dogs which seem to be the main draw we would have had a better experience? I'm not sure though. Nice wine and beer selection. Prices are on the high end for drinks.

Hot dogs are good! Toppings on the dogs complement each other! They even put things on the side when you get it to go so the bread doesn’t get weird! Very nice touch!
