We had an amazing dinner here with my parents and in-laws. Everyone's dietary needs were met, drinks were perfect, and ambiance couldn't have been better. We had a few moments of wishing the staff was more thoughtful, but had no real problems the whole time.

Outstanding meal, had the share for 2. Great way to sample all your amazing food!! Elizabeth our server was extremely attentive but not bothersome at all!! Excellent service. Ambiance of this historic building was phenomenal. Went with 2 other couples & we all said we would be back for sure!!!! Thank for a wonderful Saturday evening. Val alt

Wanted to love this place, but I wouldn't go again. Food was pretty decent and view was gorgeous! I'd say it was more like "European-style" service. Which is totally fine if you know to expect that. But compared to any other brunch spot I was very surprised how relaxed the service was. It's very possible we were there on a day where multiple servers called out, but it was slow. Sat down, 10 minutes later ordered our drinks. Drinks arrived 20-30 minutes after sitting down, which is when we were first prompted to order food. We did so and we able to eat and drink and get out after about 90 minutes total. For two people at brunch it was just slower than expected. All good food just keep that in mind if you have a show to attend or a schedule to keep. Truly beautiful view though! And I don't blame the server - I believe she was on her own for about 15 tables.

Chefs ?! We had the Special for 2 a few bourbon drinks for the hubs and the Cinnamon Toast Crème Boule and everything was excellent! Vincent was nice and very hospitable! The chef was a joy as well.

We were deciding where to take some out of town work colleagues out for dinner and decided to try Shire's. It did not disappoint. The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding. We really all enjoyed our evening.

This experience was such a pleasant surprise! It was a beautiful and intimate location and the food was fantastic! Parking is tricky but we made it work. The tables are a little close to where you can hear the conversations next to you but it seems you can choose a table that fits best for your liking. The hostess and waitress were excellent! Looking forward to going back!

Amazing food. Great spot with a view. Valet park for $15 off of third street. The specials for the valentines week were outstanding. Spin dip - melt in mouth 4 oysters - best I have ever had. So good I made my wife try her first oyster. And she thought it was good. Steak and fries. Great flavor no added salt needed. Perfect portion. Strawberries and chocolate cream cheese mousse - delicious. Cocktails Their version of mi amor, tequila drink, is like a manhattan - very tasty Rosy cheeks - great change from wine

Love the atmosphere. I can't believe more people do not know about this place. Menu is small but fun. A tad pricey but the atmosphere is worth it. The hazelnut beignets are perfection with a nice medium blend black coffee.

Love the ambiance, the vibes, and the views. However, the burgers were over cooked and lacked taste. I ordered mine medium and it was easily a medium-well. Also, the menu states “crispy” brussel sprouts and they were anything but crispy. They were actually sitting in some sort of oil. Minor tweaks but they would go a long way! Other than that, we would love to come back and try brunch sometime.

Our server wasn't amazing but she was adequate. Ambiance was amazing. Bartender was great, kind of wish we stayed at the bar for dinner. The support staff was great! Other servers seemed more attentive than ours so I think it was a fluke and overall still a great visit.

We had a wonderful experience. The service was perfect and the food was outstanding. We shared the grilled shrimp app and loved it. Had the poached pear half salad, also delicious. Entrees were the scallops...my goodness they were fantastic as was the potato bacon hash that came with it. My wife had the special...crab stuffed flounder on course grits...she enjoyed it. We will be back!

False hours.

Tables are very close together for such a quiet space. It felt like we were having dinner with the people next to us cause their conversation was to clear. Also it took 3-5 business days for our waitress to come back every time. Food was fantastic though but the portions were kind of sad for the price. Two one inch round crab cakes listed as a “to share” is comical.

We dined here on New Years Eve. Upon our arrival our table wasn't ready so we were ask to take a seat at a table near the bar until it was ready. There were 2 menus at the table already, we looked at them to get an idea about what we wanted for dinner. The menu's had the same food on them but differed in the price. One menu is ala carte courses and the other is a 3 course for $99. We finally were seated at our table and presented the ala carte menu with prices but when I asked about the two different menus the serve said they were the same. The menus we were presented with once seated had the individual course pricing on them so we assumed that we could order as such. After ordering the appetizer that is not part of the $99 3 course meal we were told we need to select our other courses. Very confusing. So I confirmed and the server said we can only do the 3 course for $99! The only issue with that is if you add the most expensive courses together it would have only come to about $85. It was however suppose to add a complimentary champagne toast (which we never received until after we paid the bill and I asked about it). The food was mediocre and my wife couldn't eat her burnt Brussel sprouts! After dinner we were presented our check without the champagne toast so we ask the server and begrudgingly she brought us a glass with almost 2 drinks in it. Other people around us were given full glasses. We also heard 2 other couples near us complaining about their bill and the complication and confusion of presenting the menus with prices on them. When we asked about it she said it was indicated when we booked the reservation but when I looked back the reservations stated a 4 course $99 prix fix meal was available for New Years Eve. But we were charged $99 for a 3 course meal and extra for the appetizer we ordered that was not included in the prix fix pricing. The service other than the hostess was lacking and the food was mediocre at best. Will not return.

We went for the NYE pre-fix menu and when we arrived we were given ala carte menus with the same items that we expected to be on the pre-fix. We were given no explanation and assumed they decided to do the ala carte menu for everyone and went about our dinner under that assumption. The pre-fix was advertised to be $99 per person but the ala carte menu had our meals coming in around $60 per person so when our bill came and it was $200 before drinks we were surprised. The manager, who was very kind, explained to us that they were doing the $99 per-fix for indoors and that ala carte menu was for the igloos outside, which required a $500 deposit, which is why the food was cheaper and that makes since. She ended up changing our bill to that ala carte price, which was very nice and she did not have to do. That, however, was not the problem of the night. After we were sat, it took the server 10 minutes to take our drink order and another 15 for those to arrive. The Ceasar salads had almost no dressing and it was essentially like eating dry lettuce with Parmesan. There was so little dressing, the parm didn't even stick to the leaves. Entrees took 40 minutes after ordering to arrive. I ordered the salmon which was so overcooked that the fibers stuck in my teeth like overcooked chicken and my husband got short rib pasta and the noodles were so overcooked they were glueish and the short rib was incredibly dry as well. The desserts tasted alright but portion size left a lot to be desired, especially for the price. The $14 was 3 tiny, single bite, squares of brownie. If you're the type of people who split a dessert after dinner, you won't be able to here. Our server never checked on us and only came by the table to deliver food or drop the check. The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired especially at this price point. Everything was grossly overcooked and my husband and I ate it all without complaint because we try not to cause problems but we won't be coming back.
