The food was subpar in my opinion...the eggplant was not cooked correctly. And chicken parm was burned on the outside. The bread was hard and garlic sauce was a bit plain.

Atmosphere and location are really cool. Ceasar salad was a 5/5. Pizza, unfortunately, lacks flavor. Fried Ravioli appetizers were frozen microwave grade.

Love this place! Discovered it one rainy afternoon when I wanted to take a break from traffic. My dad would call this place a “red restaurant,” because of the decor, the lighting and the booths. In reality, it’s a “red and green restaurant,” with Italian flags and maps aplenty (don’t miss the map in the ceiling of f the main dining room).Service is excellent. I like the bar area, “Enrico’s Taverna,” which had some friendly neighborhood locals when I was there.I’ve come back here three times in recent weeks - it may be my new favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The wedge salad was a delicious. I also recommend the lasagna and the Mama T’s Italian sausage pizza.Bonus: their own parking lot, with about 12 spots, including accessible parking for wheelchair users.

Really cute spot with really good food, and good portions for the price. The atmosphere is very nice and spacious. You’re not sitting on top of other tables. It’s a must visit spot.

This was a first visit, and this place is a hidden gem! The service was excellent as we walked in 30 minutes before closing and were able to eat in and receive excellent service. The pizza crust was so delicious. This is definitely a place to return for good pizza, service, and atmosphere! There was an error with pizza toppings, and we didn't even actually pay attention due to being hungry and just enjoying the meal. However, it was brought to our attention, and a new pizza was made. The honesty and exposure to error are positive qualities that will definitely keep people returning!

Ordered pepperoni pizza for takeout. Super nice looking restaurant. Pizza was tasty. But The cheese wasn't mozzarella. It was some aged and smelly cheeses. My mouth didn't mind but my stomach did. I was bowled over all night. I am not lactose intolerant and eat pizza once a week. Just a warning folks. Ask about the cheese.

Pizza week 2022 this was the best pizza. Great pizza & service. Pizza week 2023 a totaly different experience! Took over an hour to get the pizza & it was nothing like the pizza we had the previous year ( same pizza both years the Norwood assembly) over cooked & dry. Service was so bad people walked out. What a shame cool place & been in business since 1956

Sorrento's, founded in 1956, has been on my list for years. It must have been 30 years since I was there last and in the meantime, they rebuilt after a fire and changed owners. I can say, though, if you like traditional Italian fare, it won't disappoint. We went for the Pizza Week specials. My husband had the Norwood Assrmbly, an unusual blend of sweet Italian sausage and dill pickle chunks on red sauce and I had cheese with banana peppers and mushrooms. The red sauce is classic, not too thick with a good herby oregano flavor. The crust was perfect: crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. The blue cheese wedge was what you'd expect and it divided well for the two of us. It was half-price wine night and the Chianti reserva did not disappoint. My husband tried the house Italian lager brewed by Braxton and it reminded him of Peroni. Our only complaint was the service. There servers were pleasant and accommodating, but the food and drinks took a very long time to arrive and my husband never could find our waiter to get a second beer. Perhaps they were slammed by pizza weeks, but our dining room wasn't full. Still, we're likely to give them another try.

Service was pretty slow. The poor girls were running around. But they tried. The pizza was very good. Lots of toppings and cheese.

Emma was able to get us in even though they were booked. Our waitress Winnie was great. They all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food is amazing and the wonderful smell when walking into the door makes your mouth water. We will be back with our friends and family.
