Happy that the new owners were able to keep the same charm and quality of food. The hostess/waitress at the front though was mean, rude, and borderline verbally abusive. Breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day, I didn't appreciate being spoken down to by the waitress first thing in the morning. I met her back with kindness and a smile but she persisted in being rude. And made comments that made my friend and I very uncomfortable.Also, bring back the banana peppers!!

This was my first time here and as soon as I walked in the door it had a great vibe. My waitress Dee checked on me multiple times making sure I had everything I needed and kept my drink refilled. The food was delicious ?. And the oldies type music with the design and theme of the place all coordinates well. Will definitely be back. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.EDIT: Sorry to the gentleman who got startled when I started my car as he was carrying things to the dumpster. ?

I was at Keidel Plumbing Supply down the street and was hungry after searching for bathroom supplies. Decided to try the most local place on my google being sugar n spice and when I arrived they said I didn’t have what it takes to eat there.

We needed to find a good place for breakfast and came upon this one. The atmosphere is a little different but sunny. The service is hit or miss. The food is good. It's a little hard to find, kinda tucked in between buildings. A nice little stop.
Well, went to the reading rd, one and the food was tastless, had to beg for a refill, ran out of tea ??, going back to the new one in blue ash, its a lot better !!!!

I always try to support local businesses when visiting a new city and had hopes for this place. However, it was not to be. We waited for half an hour to be seated, with no information about how long our wait would be. We were finally seated and promptly ignored for five minutes or more. We fetched our own menus from nearby. Random staff members were shuffling around not really doing anything. Food was piling up in the pass. One of the non-server staff members got us some of the most bitter coffee I’ve ever tasted, but couldn’t do anything more for us. Our waitress appeared, took our order, and then vanished. We waited for an hour. No food. Nobody checked in on us or even acknowledged us. More food piled up in the pass, and we saw other people sending their orders back - my guess is the food was either wrong or cold. Servers appeared apathetic when they were visible at all. We left without getting to taste anything, and saw our waitress and other staff smoking at the back of the place. We drove to Bob Evan’s and had hot coffee and biscuits in front of us within five minutes. Don’t waste your time here, no matter how cute it looks, until they sort out their service.

Nostalgic and fun diner known for friendly service, wispy pancakes, and rubber ducks for anyone who eats there. Whether you're craving a full breakfast or the newest duck for your dashboard collection, Sugar n' Spice has you covered. This place is tight and cozy and you'll nearly always have to wait patiently for a table, but that line shows you that it is worth it.
