Came with a group for lunch. Everything was good. The only complaint from the group was the Swamp Mud drink, apparently it tasted like a black licorice liquor was mixed in for the coloring effect. But the other drinks were on point. The pasta dish was excellent. We will definitely be back.

The swamp water drill in Cincinnati is a definite must visit. The Louisiana atmosphere and Cajun food is awesome. We had a party of eight. We quickly sat and served. The service was awesome and I can’t say enough about the food. I know some people said they didn’t like the tea, but I love the sweet tea. And the jambalaya was the best.

Suggested by my colleague as I am not a seafood person, but decided to tag along for the fun. The restaurant looks deceiving on the outside because it looks like a run down building. As soon as you see the parking lot you know that's not the case as it was full of cars. I was surprised because within the building there is an antique mall to shop at. We did not go inside because it was closed. The bar was pretty amazing it was filled with people laughing and having a good time. The restaurant had a 40 minute wait for us to get a seat. My buddies got a combo platter that had crawfish, crab, and shrimp. Looks and smelt amazing, I did have a piece of corn that was baked in the same Cajun seasoning and it was spicy and tasty. Ultimately I ended up getting a cheeseburger which was pretty good, but if you're into seafood and Cajun food this place is pretty awesome. I even rescued my buddy from being eaten by an alligator at the entrance!! so beware.

Having moved back from the gulf in Mississippi, our friends were keen to take us. The food reminded me of some of our favorite spots down there. My husband had the catfish étouffée, and he said it was perfect. He just wished he had extra étouffée to soak up with bread. The collards were delicious, the grits aren't cheesy, so just keep that mind. I had the shrimp po' boy, which tasted fresh, crisp, and was actually on the right roll. The chargrilled oysters were tasty and came to the table sizzling. Seasoning was right. Y'all, I was ready to be disappointed, but this is going to be our go-to when we miss home. I have the atmosphere a 4, because it was a little loud, some kind of dampening system could help, but that may be part of the charm...Parking: Plenty of parking, and if you have to wait, check out the attached antique mall.

This was a great experience. I always hesitate on oysters in a half shell if not near the ocean but we are celebrating our 25th anniversary and said let’s do it. We will be back and it really satisfied our authentic seafood and Cajun desire. We had a 45 minute wait but the restaurant had an adjoining flea market. We bought a few things and as we were checking out- our table was ready. I gave the atmosphere a 4 just because the booth’s were separated by curtains. I think this could have been done differently but this definitely did not interfere with the taste. It was amazing! Thank you for having such a great restaurant.

Prices have increased and food has gone downhill. Servers and staff are still awesome. But $100 for smaller than average meals for my boyfriend and I is hard to justify, especially when the food used to be so good and now I can’t even bring myself to finish the plate.

We stopped to look at the antique store next door when we saw the Swampwater Grill. We asked the gals at the shop and they gave it good reviews. We figured why not, let's go. We were glad we did. Our waitress was amazing and the etoufee was delicious!! I recommend giving it a go. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I'm from Louisiana! This is... by far... the closest quality to Louisiana style food that I've had since I moved to Kentucky (10 mins from Cincy)!!! Had the New Orleans Catfish, Jamabalya and red beans and rice and was satisfied with all of it!!!

Staff is amazing! Food could use some salt.Parking: Since it shares parking with the antique store the lot is always full. I'd recommend coming about 5 minutes earlier then you think you would need to.
