This is the best kept secret in Covington! My husband and I are very picky food eaters. We lived in NYC for years and were spoiled with delicious Indian cuisine. We have eaten at other places and I say with all my heart this food is THE BEST! The take-out option is great, and if you eat-in the owners and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I had never had an orange Lassi and was recommended by a server. It tasted like a fresh orange smoothie. It was delicious! My husband had Chai and that was heavenly! I love trying Korma at different places because it's so diffeeent everywhere you go. The tomatoe sauce is earthy and delicious and they made it the exact level of spice I asked for! The samosas were delicious! I could have eaten two. The sauces were incredible and were explained to us before we tried them. The garlic nan is our favorite! Toasted perfectly! There is always leftovers so we make two meals out of our order. On a budget order one dish for two people and somosas and you leave stuffed have paid less than $30. I have been doing research on Foggy Brain after recovering from Covid, and everything I read recommends this kind of cuisnine! I'm not complaining at all! I could eat for every meal!

Didn't have what it takes to be one of my go to restaurants $50.00 for my wife and Me. I think I have other options for Good Indian food.

Food was bland, not tasty. I doubt they would serve that same biryani to their own family. Indian here in Cincinnati and this is the worst Indian food we have had.

I was delighted to find an Indian restaurant still running a buffet these days, however, this is the first time I ever left a buffet still hungry. Basmati rice, empty. Naan, empty, tandoori chicken, empty. On top of this you can expect all the dishes to be spicy. Will not return.

I was beyond elated to find that their buffet was back. I adore this restaurant and it's staff is absolutely fantastic.

Taj Mahal is one of my Go To places for Indian Cuisine. The unassuming restaurant is a wonderful cover for the delicious aromas which pull you inside. The people behind the counter are very friendly and will usually answer questions about the menu. I usually order the Saag Chole (spice level 3) which comes with Jasmine Rice and an order of Bhatura (fried bread). The flavors of the Saag Chole and the Jasmine Rice compliment each other so well, I hate when it's gone. The Bhatura, is a bit up and down. Sometimes it's fried to crisp perfection and sometimes, it's just plain soggy. I have yet to try any of their other offerings, but if they're like the Saag Chole, then I'm sure it'll be delicious. Please check this place out. It's well worth the trip. Also, calling ahead is a better option, as the wait can be a little long sometimes.

We were pleased to discover this place had a lunch buffet !Hard to come by these days. small ,quiet place for lunch .Dim lighting which I prefer.Buffet came with a bottled water you helped yourself to in the fridge .Canned sodas were offered for 1 dollar.Don't be fooled by small buffets ,We got our rice ,butter chicken ,fried spinach leaves ,saag ,fried naan ,regular naan ,other things I did try but are not my go to's but still very good (can't remember what they are called ) Nice young man at the front who checked us out .Left there feeling full and happy .Very delicious food ,will definitely go back for more .

One of my favorite places to eat!! It's always ready so quickly, and always delicious. I have been coming here for over two years now and I have never had a bad experience at Taj Mahal!

Have ordered here numerous times,, always spice level 10. Ordered again today, everything at a spice level of 10. Tasted like nothing. No spice at all. Called to see if they can remake, was told to call next day.....huh, what...but what about tonight's dinner that I spent money on?Guess I will take my business back to college hill.

Small quaint restraunt. They sell cans of soda or bottles of water with your meal. Altho rather limited buffet options, The buffet is delicious. The price point is worth it. And the staff are very nice and polite.
