Dinner during Restaurant Week was delicious, with our server Rick taking excellent care of us. Enjoyed the steak au poivre and new lemon poppy seed waffle greatly. The steak course was delayed by a "mishap" but Rick more than made up for it. Company founder Jean-Francois Flechet was even mingling with guests and asked us about our meal; that was neat. Every time I dine at TOB I think: I must do this more often!

Nice atmosphere and service. Food was good too. We had mussels, chicken waffle, pasta and chocolate cake. They're all great!

Strange waffles...not what you expect. They are dense and hard to cut thru. Odd flavoring too. Potatoes were soggy. Sausage was not edible. Just my opinion. Wouldn't revisit.

Great local chain. Very good hot brown. They have lots of beer but I was there in a workday so I can't comment

Very disappointing. Frites were served cold (during lunch!), water glasses dirty, other items ordered were mediocre at best (including the waffles) and overpriced. Nice decor and view of the river were the only positives. Not sure if we just caught them on a bad day, but I can’t understand all the rave reviews. Won’t waste another $90 on lunch (with no drinks!) to try again, though.

Everything here was delish. I had the waffle and chicken and each part of it was yummy! The chicken was perfectly crisp and juicy. The waffle was so good. The by far have the best waffles ever. I’m glad I asked for things in separate places because my mother got the same thing and her syrup got all over her salad and that didn’t mix well with blue cheese dressing. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the bathroom. It wasn’t super clean and the floors were so sticky! I’d come again though!Parking: Parking was horrible here. And don’t ever come on a day where there is a game. They charge a min of $21 almost everywhere. Ugh

I am curious how this place received such high reviews. The food was terrible, our waitress never smiled, and service was poor. We ordered the breakfast platter—the eggs were undercooked, waffles were soggy, and the potatoes were like cardboard. We paid our bill and left as quickly as possible. Just garbage, I wouldn’t feed that to my dog.

The location is perfect if you’re going to any sporting event. Interesting story behind it. The food was pretty amazing. The service leaves some things to be desired like getting a paper receipt so I can expense this and having to ask multiple times to get a togo cup.

There was a half hour wait the day we went, but they took our number and sent a text when the table was ready so it was nice to go walk to the waterfront park to kill time while waiting for our table. Our server was very prompt and friendly. The food was delicious. Probably the best waffles I've ever had! I definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

It was so good, we went for dinner two nights in a row during our stay in Cincinnati. The mussels I had were amazing (pesto). We also tried the PROVENÇALE and CHORIZO and loved them too. They taste like the authentic mussels we have had in Belgium. The next night we tried the Fish and frites and highly recommended them! The s’mores waffle is very sweet but still so good. The chocolate torte was delicious. This restaurant is a must try if you are in the area!

Ive never written a bad review about a restaurant before but I feel the need to for here. The fries and waffle burger were cold and flavorless, dry with a stale waffle, the steak and egg was flavorless as well. The chocolate waffle and the pop tart was cold, hard to cut, dry and stale. It seemed to be sitting out for hours before served. We complained and did not get the appropriate response. We are not coming back. Worst experience.
