Sorry to the people who love this place but I wasn't impressed. Waitresses was kind of snarky when I was asking questions. I am a no carb no sugar person and I met a friend here for lunch (like I said not my kind of place)and had a lot of questions about possibly customizing my order and I guess I was to much for her. Anyways, if you like sugar and carbs, you will probably love this place.

The kenwood location was set for an event so it was half empty. How ever there were a number of service miscues. The food was spot on and delicious and did come out fast. I'd give it a second try for sure.

This restaurant for me is probably a one and done experience. Our server brought our food out and literally left before I could get a word out. A couple of us needed drink refills and a couple sides of ketchup, etc. Our brunch came out luke warm and the bacon was soaked in grease. I had to go find a employee 2 different times to get the things we needed because our server never came back to check on us until we were almost done with our meals. I agree with another review someone wrote about the server standing over you while you pay your bill. The atmosphere here is nice. The food quality not so nice. Service was slow when you did get service...

ToB has definitely gone downhill over the years. The chicken is consistently over cooked and the quality has just seemed to have declined. Will give another chance in a year or two.Update 3/31/24: This place has managed to get worse. Abysmal service and think I would have rather eaten fast food.

We have been to the TOB Rookwood location and our meals and service were excellent. We did NOT have a good experience at the Kenwood location. Our waitress did not bring out gravy for 2 members of our party, and by the time she brought it out the meal was cold. The fries were not hot. We had to ask MULTIPLE times for water refills. The restaurant was not busy, so that can't be the excuse for the poor service.

Solid meal, filling, and good service. Server was accommodating with a couple requests and even helped me order something not on the menu. We were there at an odd time of day and it was very empty but it was nice. This is a reliable stop and I always excited to eat here. Gotta have a Nutella waffle with fruit on it. Had some kind of bourbon / chai drink that was outstanding too.

Ate here for the first time. It was really tasty. Our waiter was great. He suggested items on the menu and took our order quickly. He also checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The food tasted really good as well. Had the Bier Cheese (not pictured) as a starter and it was very tasty as well! Would definitely recommend as a nice brunch spot!

Very few servers on a crowded Saturday night. Ordered the chicken with waffle. The chicken was ok - flat patty, nothing special - but the waffle was compressed raw dough. And this is a place that specializes in waffles. Go figure. The servers did their best but the food was not worth the money or the long wait.
He'd been to several locations of taste of Belgium today decided to return to Kenwood our server was amazing and on point sweet as could be. The Mannager was also delightful. A fantastic experience from start to finish
We arrived at the restaurant and they told us they couldn't seat us without a reservation. I went on the app and booked a reservation for immediately, the app showed open tables every 15 minutes for the rest of the evening which made no sense. They were out of mussels which is why we came in. But the fish sandwich and fish & chips was very good and the service was great.

Well me and my friends came in to eat for a party of 5 they told us a 30 min wait turned into a hour. because the kitchen so called "crashed" but kept seating people after us and then on top of that sat a 7 top. super unprofessional and honestly would never come back .

They won't accept cash, "To keep their staff safe" but that isn't the real reason. There is a lack of healthy options. The servers were very nice. I can't believe Belgium is like this.
