Drove from Morrow OH to have a special meal for my husband’s bday w our 2 adult children. We made a reservation for 7:15 and were able to be seated right away on a busy Friday night. Unfortunately we were seated by the front door so I was cold most of the evening and the metal seats are very uncomfortable. The $10 pretzel balls were a bummer because we only got 10 of them. My husband loved his Chimichurri Steak, my Royale burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned great, fries were plentiful. My daughter loved her Multibeast burger but my son said his Cemita chicken sandwich was nothing special…he didn’t even eat it all. At $3.50 each I think sweet teas and soft drinks should be free refills. I told the waiter it was my husbands bday and he sd we “might” get a free dessert. However, we did not. If I lived closer to Wyoming I would probably give Tela another chance…skipping the app and drinks.

Where to start on this unassuming restaurant. It has been on our list to try for a good while since it is near where we live and I'm so thrilled that we finally made it. I wasn't expecting the local art which is awesome and the mural on the fence in back which tells the story of the restaurant and created by Michael C. (bartender). The smells that came from the kitchen were deliciously enticing and looking over the menu I knew a couple things we wanted to try. So what did we have? First off the Pretzel Nugs with house-made beer cheese and roasted garlic caramel. I loved the roasted garlic caramel so much I asked for a jar to take home, it is that good! Trust me :) They had blackened mahi mahi tacos, house-made pico and they were delectable and juicy.Michael was gracious to explain the concoctions. To drink I had the Blue Mountain Hop which has duck fat infused Bulleit bourbon, pecan liqueur, sweet vermouth and orange and he had The Nightosphere which is blackberry infused El Jimador blanco, house-made cranberry & basil liqueur, sour, and grenadine in a Himalayan pink salt rimmed glass. Very tasty and clever drinks!I had the Cemita which is a lightly breaded buttermilk fried chicken cutlet with oaxaca cheese, red onion and cilantro and he had the short rib mac and cheese which has smoked Gouda and cheddar with Mr. Pibb braised beef short rib with fried shallots.Shout out to Arlena our lovely and friendly server, Michael C the artist and bartender and Mike W who we indulged us with more information about the food and restaurant. We will definitely be back and if you haven't been you need to check it out! Many thanks!!

We stopped in on a busy Saturday evening, but were able to get a two top right away. Despite the full house, our server was great and the food was fantastic. The Mac & Cheese with pulled short rib is soooooo good! Mussels in traditional white wine & butter came with a lot of potlikker and huge slice of bread to sop it up. Definitely worth another visit ?

I really like how everything here is locally sourced. Our server was hospitable and informative about the menu selection. The Nightosphere drink I ordered was very good, but it took a long time for our drinks to finally come out.I liked the flavor of the wings I ordered, but they were a bit overdone.I'm looking forward to trying something else on the menu, such as the burgers or a Reuben.Overall, I enjoyed my lunch here, and will try Tēla Bar+ Kitchen again in the near future.

I really enjoyed this bar. I had 4 different cocktails and they were each sophisticated in their own right. Also had the mussels and pretzel nugs and everything tasted great.Vegetarian options: At least two vegetarian options (falafel burger and some sort of bowl)
