My husband attends the Duketers with his high school classmates for a monthly get-together. One of his friends suggested they support The Dukesters. They went for a Sunday Buffet and he came home and raved about the food. Finally, for his birthday, I wanted to see what the hype was all about. Well, I took my kids and grandkids for his birthday. My daughter was reluctant because she read the reviews, but those reviews were from years ago. We had an assortment of soul food, fried chicken, fried fish and salmon croquet, ribs, turkey and dressing, cabbage, green, mack & cheese--rice and more. I wanted to taste everything so I could critique it. Everything I ate was delicious. Try the buffet (drinks and desserts are included.) you won't be sorry. I do suggest they invest in a high chair and booster chairs.

My school got food from here for a staff meeting and it was absolutely delicious! Thank you for supporting public education, the food is definitely helping this teacher get to winter break.

Had an amazing experience with the customer service . But for $23 a plate this food wasn’t worth it the Mac and cheese wasn’t flavorful enough felt like I tasted Kraft in it . The chicken wings were decent , the collard greens tasted bland . They did give us a taste test of the cake and Mac and cheese . Cake was very good. For $23 I’d want a bigger portion of food and also want the food to taste good . This was my first time here and will be my last

Ordered rib tip dinner with Mac and cheese and yams. Mac and cheese was the only thing hit. Yams were cold and most of the ribs were too. They also microwave it before they gave it to me. Very

Sides were good, chicken was okay but we did come close to the restaurant closing so I think we got the tail end of the buffet. Also a little pricey.
The ribtips were TUFF. The greens were not good at all, I will never go back...

I like the place and the owner but the food was not the star of the show. Chicken wing dinner was ok at best. Rib tips were not very good. Sides were ok, but warming up a $23 meal in the microwave before you give it to the customer ain't gonna cut it. Chicken wing meal was heated so long it burnt a hole in the Styrofoam.

Everything is 22.95 no matter what you get. The food was served microwaved and still cold (refrigerator cold). Lots of cross contamination.

We called in our order for pick up & discoverd the instore menu prices are $5 to $7 higher than the online menuWhat should have been 2 meals for $30 became 2 meals for $45.The food was not worth the price. We won't support this business again.

I have only heard about this restaurant until today after me my husband and my grandson went after we got out of church. The buffet was 25 dollars a person plus 6 dollars for my 2 year old grandson. Who i wanted to just eat off my plate. But the food was vey nasty and blane mac n cheez was terrible even the noodles were over cooked. Greens and cabbage were under cooked and blane, the stuffing was terrible and very salty, the chicken was okay though. The pork chop was okay, for that much money I expected the food to taste alot better than it did. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Not as good as the south but it'll do.
