Tikka is an awesome little cafe with some of the best vegan falafel and fries in the region.

Horrible, rude worker was screaming at a Door Dash driver when I was sitting there waiting. I just walked off and decided not to deal with them. It's clear the front counter worker is having a mental breakdown and is not happy with his life.

When you order at the counter they request a tip. Against my better judgement I left a 20% tip. We sat at the counter and we were enjoying watching the tv. The food was delivered, no eye contact no nice comment like enjoy your food. No fork no napkin offered. They were not busy. At 850 (they close at 9) they shut off the tvs. We were still eating. I let it go and although they walked in front of us numerous times it was clear we were of no priority. we left our baskets and water bottles and napkins on the counter. I thought about throwing it away.... but I remembered the 20% tip that had not been earned. I have worked fast food and have waited tables I know what earns a tip. As we walked away one of the workers finally noticed us. He called out to direct me to the location of the trash can and told me to come back and throw it out. This is what motivated me to write a 1star review. Had this not happened I would have just let it go and next time tip zero. I was shocked, when i worked at Wendy's or mcdonalds it never would have crossed my mind to have done that. if my boss caught me I would have received a write up... if your employees want to give roller skating rink counter service that's fine, i respect that, and I'll put my stuff in a trash can no problem. I'd probably even wipe off the table. But if what we experienced is your level of service then have some self respect dont solicite tips at the card machine.

Had a chicken gyro there with my daughter last night. It was like a strips of , seasoned meat mixture, most likely prepared from a paste? I know this is a method of preparing gyro meat but was a bit disappointed by the rubbery texture. On a more positive note the tzatziki sauce and fries were amazing!
